spend less money. suggest a secret santa thing instead of buying for everybody you know. i ended up spending more than i planned on spending but i did not go overboard.

A way to save money is look at the store fliers and see what is on sale, there are usually some really awesome sales on Christmas eve.

No, seriously. If you will not be giving the gift until after Christmas, wait for the sales.

make homemade clay and make everyone keychains, keyhooks, name plaques or something out of clay and paint it as gifts. last year i was poor and that's what i did. you can find homemade clay recipes anywhere! just bake for awhile or some you don't even have to bake and ta-da...christmas gifts galore!!! personalized to. :)
