Crisis began over 36 years ago as a volunteer-led organisation and much of our work would not be possible without the support of thousands of volunteers. Today, volunteers play a crucial role, working with homeless people, providing essential administrative support or raising crucial funds.

Crisis Open Christmas run seven centres from 23-30 December in London.

thats a nice idea! i would contact one of the organisations such as 'shelter' or log on to the 'big issue' website. im sure they could do with as many volunteers as possible, especially as it will be a cold one this year again. type in 'help the homeless' or one of the above on google, and give them a call.

giving a little xmas cheer is what xmas is all about!!

merry xmas to all !!!!!!!!!!

Check your local phone book for Catholic Charities (doesn't matter if you are not Catholic) and ask them. Or, look in phone book for number of Salvation Army. Or you can call your city or village hall or police dept. NON EMERGENCY phone number and ask operator for names of Homeless Shelters.
