Yes, there really was a Santa Claus, back in the day! You should read up on the history of it, it's real fun.
Best gift for Christmas would just be what each person personally wants..I can't generalize it.
Me: I want Tea! So if anyone wants to get me a good present, I'd love some tea! YUM

Santa Claus is tru in a sence he is the spirt of giving and of being unselfish, he brings out the good in people, and the innocent child in us all.
The best gift would be one of laughter and good health and being with ones you love. Material things get lost and fade away, or we can buy more. Laughter, family and good health are things you can not just go out and buy, but they can also fade away or get lost too. So having them to me is the best gift we can have.
