My soon to be sister in law had a baby girl and I want to buy her a gift. She is Japanese and had the baby there so I want to be practical for the baby but give something that shows that I care and am thoughtful about the cultural differences in our family. Any suggestions would be helpful!

He will make remarks that make me feel like he thinks I am gay, or when I try to be nice he will say things like disgusting, he has also called me a ******, I am not at all black but I do use some slang. He makes fun of how I look, yells at me for everything is always telling what to do, lets go! put your shoes on! lock the door! EVERYTIME WE LEAVE!!! Then if I move the slightest bit how he doesnt like at the dinner table he'll start panting in grunts, it would scare little kids away, then he gets a look on his face and eats like a wild animal, he is so touchy I dont know how to talk to him, what worse is I am beginning to be disrespectful towards him no matter how hard i try because the stuff he has said has made me not like him very much even though he is family and I love him. I am staying with him to help him move into his new place and help him with his land and animals how can I get along with this grump?

I like Krispy Kremes because they taste great, less filling and don't require ketchup on the side. That ketchup stuff can be messy and time consuming, especially if you are somebody who works.

Also, I like them because they go well with green beans and nobody has ever tried to hurt somebody with krispy kremes that I know of so I guess they are really peaceful. By that logic, If we were all krispy kremes there would be world peace and everyone would taste great!

Other than that, I like them because you dont need to mix them with mayonaisse and green onion like a can of tuna, that can be a real pain in the butt. They are fine the way they are!

Also, I knew someone with a krispy kreme hat and another guy with a krispy kreme coffee travel mug. Both of them were real nice, and they were not even the same person. They both golf though.

Plus theres lots of selection so every day you can try a new one every day for 3 weeks. So with all these things going on, should I stay away from ketchu

Another obnoxious children/lazy parent question for you all...
Why is it that many times while I'm in a restaurant, and the obnoxious child party leaves (and sometimes not even having an obnoxious child in the party)..... they leave a disgusting mess all over the floor and table. I'm talking about food pieces, and slop smeared all over EVERYTHING. Why do they think that this is acceptable? Is it because they are paying for the food? Because some is being paid to bus the table? Can someone please explain to me why parents will up and leave a table that looks like pigs ate at. No, wait, pigs would be much neater. I think if your kid makes a mess, YOU should clean it! Why should the waiter/waitress have to deal with that crap? Oh this makes my blood boil! Any thoughts on this one?

Today my grandmother came to my house and I stood next to her to see it I was as tall as her yet. I wasn't quite, but then my grandmother said, "You may not be as tall as me, but you're beautiful, and have a lovely figure." This made me really uncomfortable and I didn't know what to say! Am I overreacting and this is just a compliment or do I have a reason to feel kind- of uncomfortable about this?

If you and your friend say something at the same time, and one of them calls "JINX!" the person who didn't call it is supposed to stop talking until they are released from jinx. But how is that person released? My friend called jinx on me, and now I can't talk until I am let out. HELP ME!

Well I work out at this popular gym and I totally believe in being hydrated. I drank a huge amount of water from the water fountain thinking I was going to do a lot of exercising that day. Well I did some light stretching a little bit of this and that and then my girlfriend called and told me she needed me so I decided to hit the showers and go home. Well while I was in there I really had to pee bad because of all this water I drank. I usually pee in the shower at home so I thought i would save time. Some guys saw me doing it and told me to stop. I thought they were kidding so I started shooting my stream on them and running around chasing them. Well, little did I know they weren't because they ended up beating the @*#$ out of me and I ended up being thrown out of the gym. I had 1 year left on the contract!?! Come on...this was just male bonding/guy stuff/ horsing around kind of thing, right?

I've never been shy about my body, and I've always assumed it was my right to answer the door in the buff as long as the person on the other side is not a minor. Yesterday I had to laugh when that's exactly how I greeted one of the candidates for mayor in my community.

Question... "Second to last person who answers right, wins..."

Details "Fill in the blank two, too, __."

How is that point gaming...especially over a resolved question...Do you think it was someone who answered and didn't get best, and then reported it because they didn't get it?

i just joined my school's gym and they have a pool. i am going to go tonight with a guy friend who is very accepting and a nice person. i have an attitude that when i take off my towel and reveal my bathing suited body, that i am totally fine with the way i look. this is despite the fact that i am about 20-25 pounds over weight (i am 5'3" and 160 lbs). am i wrong to be so proud of my body, or should i worry about it/only take off my towel when i am two inches away from the water, ready to get in lol)

i don't know if ppl are like "whoa she shouldn't flaunt it cuz it's not that great" or if they don't even care. please share your thoughts

Well, me and my buddy go work out together at a popular gym for people who are mostly in their 20's, 30's, and 40's. Well, after we finish working out we go into the showers (we get kind of hot and sweaty). Well the gym has a gang shower there and there is this guy that spends hours in there almost every day that we have been there the past two weeks. He just seems to stare for minutes at guys taking showers. Well, he went up to me and my buddy and said we were very handsome men. It kind of weirded me out because I am not gay and neither is my buddy. Well, my buddy kind of got pissed and ask him if he was gay. He said that he wasn't. He just enjoyed admiring all the masculinity in the shower, the hairy backs, the hairless backs, the circumcised, the uncircumcized, hairy chests, hairless chests, and big muscles. Well, I thought it was kind of weird but as long as he wasn't gay and looking at me I would just go home and forget about it. My buddy thinks its wrong and is thinking

Last month, I was visiting a friend in California. During this time, she was invited to the wedding of two gay friends, and since I was in the area at the time, I also was invited. I didn't know the two people getting married, but since I was also invited, I felt it appropriate to bring a gift.

This was the first time I attended a gay wedding and I'm not much up on the culture. Anyways, when we arrived, I placed my gift on the table with the other gifts. Nobody paid any notice, but later in the ceremony when it came time to acknowledge gifts, my gift made quite a stir. Apparently the two gentlemen getting married didn't appreciate the gift of two gerbils that I'd brought, and started going ballistic. Fortunately I didn't leave a tag on the gift, so nobody realized it was me.

Is this really that big of a deal?
