I'm giving a bouquet of flowers to a female co-worker for an award she received, what would be the equivalent for a male co-worker?

Men like flowers too.

Or send him a cookie bouquet instead.

They deserve the same. I would however recommend a live plant v/s flowers. The plant would last longer and they could put it on his/her desk. Men like to receive flowers too.

I'd get something that also requires a little thought (like the flowers), perhaps a mug engraved with his name and some of his favorite candies in it. You could probably even have something similar delivered as with the flowers for women.

the male equivalent is givin him a steak or a special football channel unless he's flamboyant or gay in which case, take them shopping or get them some new shoes or a cd of their favorite band/singer.
