The other day, my neice invited me for tea. We sat down, and after sipping tea for a minute my neice farted. I told her that this was unbecoming of a lady and considered rude. She was curious as to which society or civilization invented that rule -- that passing wind is rude. Frankly, I didn't know what to tell her, so I thought I'd post the question here.

I get insulted when others criticise me for always being "so perfect," when in reality, I watch what I'm doing, I look around corners and intersections before, during and after going through, I listen carefully to every word being said and hold my coffee cup at angle that will not spill while I bend or just talking to someone. 90% of people don't watch, so they treat me as being oblivious. I hate that!

I've never been upgraded, well except when I was 7, but then they said I couldn't go by myself. I'm not saying that I will get upgraded, but am I supposed to ask? and when? how?

We're going to a party for a kid that's leaving for bootcamp - even though he's only 17. He will be back for his senior year. Do we take a card? A gift/money?

HELP!

that they were in a car crash what would you do?

He wanted a kiss and I didn't want one (because I'm engaged and not interested in him that way) but he stole one anyways. So even though I've known him forever, I told him never contact me again. Well the next day he crashes his car and texted me about it. (Sounds like something a psycho might do on purpose.) I checked that he was ok with a text and then I sent a second asking why in the heck he texted me when I asked him not too.

What would you have done? Do you think this was overboard rude and I should appologize?

She died last September and I didn't get a chance to be at her side. I've scattered her ashes at a beautiful and secluded spot in a river so that she could flow through her favourite county to the sea. I sometimes visit the spot but cannot seem to find the right thing to say or do. I'd appreciate some suggestions
