During gym class, this one girl who I have never talked to before and obviously has no interest in being my friend will ask me, "Are you still going out with Jack*?" I mumble "yes" (wondering how in the world she knows who I'm going out with). Then she says, "Well, it doesn't seem like it, because you never show him any physical affection." My goodness! It's GYM CLASS! Does she expect me to makeout with him right then and there? I personally don't believe in any PDA beyond holding hands, because I think that it is innappropriate and disrespectful to those surrounding. That's besides the point, though...Other random people who would normally never talk to me are asking me personal questions about my love life (I am in high school, by the way). What is the appropriate response to these questions? (i.e. Are you going out with Jack*? You and Jack make the cutest couple! Any trouble in paradise? etc.)

I work for the government and have just been promoted to a new position within my agency. I now have entirely new duties that I will have to be trained for, a new boss, and most of my coworkers work in a different building, however for the time being I am staying where I am. My old building was super casual. I wear jeans and polo shirts 5 days a week. The people who work across the street at my new job wear button up shirts, polo shirts and the women wear pants suits and dresses. A couple of guys (including the boss) had on ties. I of course am going to lose the jeans and my new boss said what I had on was otherwise fine and I shouldn't have to change too much. I am thinking of wearing a button up shirt and a tie a few days a week though. I feel more professional doing that, but I'm afraid if I do it right at the start it will be viewed as brown nosing. Also anytime I have worn a tie in my old building I felt horribly out of place, due to everyone else being so casual.

I am a firm believer that good deeds need not be announced to everyone. I like to do nice things for people in an anonymous fashion. Some people like to let everyone know when they have done something for someone else, but I think that takes away from the special deed and that they are only doing it for their own ego. Any thoughts on this?

I love the fact that he is so charming and funny,
he used to like me until things went sour between us as his friends interfered, and he had to stick up with them.....that made me stay away from all of them,
but now I realise that I miss him,he was never really mine in the first place, but I need to talk it through with him and tell him I still want him as a friend,
Should I ask him out to the movies?
10 points for the best answerer.
