why no longer? I continually do good deeds each and every time and everywhere there is an danger to realize this. My motivation is that a minimum of I unquestionably have made yet somebody else's existence somewhat less demanding. Doing good deeds without others understanding it... Does voluntary blood donation fall decrease than this classification? If particular, then i think of i'm doing a good deed anonymously. i do no longer think in god, whom could desire to reward me, so my motivation is i'm saving persons's lives with my own blood. besides the undeniable fact that the recipients could by no ability ever in my opinion thank me because of the fact they do no longer comprehend me, the advantages i'm getting is the self-delight that i became waiting to boost my help with what I unquestionably have, that i became waiting to proportion an element of me and grow to be somebody else's existence. i think of I became somewhat kinder as quickly as I became an atheist.

I believe that is how it should be done as well-anonymous deeds I think have an even greater effect that just doing a nice deed because not only was the deed itself soooo cool..but I mean, WHO DID IT?! and WHY?! ahh I love it! :)

Though it is good to be humble , most people would like to know the name of the person in which to thank after having something nice done for them .
That said I'm a member of four charities though three of them are for animals . When I do help someone out its usually through advice or just being there when they need me and though I don't brag about it people are still able to know I'm a reliable person .

Only hypocrits do good deeds for the purpose of showing others.
When a person pleases the other person just because he wants him to be happy, the motivation is pure.
Whereas, when a person pleases the other person because he wants to win him over, the motivation is impure. Competition and politics is included.

Yes, I love giving someone a monetary gift anonymously through my church. There are always those who are needy, and have a rough time due to circumstances or illness. When I am willing to do this, I know the gift is from the heart, not for attention,

I agree with you. Good deeds come from the heart and don't need to be announced.

Some "do gooders" and I use the term advisedly like to show the world what they are doing to feel good and ease their conscience.
Love to talk about what they have done for someone. Eternally in debt. Behoven to the "do-gooder" Some do it out of self indulgance.
But everyone does it because they feel better.
The good thing about smiles and music is there is no repayment required.
Take good care.

I think that part of doing a good deed is not boasting about it. I think that that's part of the pleasure of doing something for someone.
