Are these people that live in houses on hills considered to be very gregarious?

the "house on the hill" is a very old term to referr to someone who is rich - because they would build thier house on the highest point on thier land so they could watch over thier land and the people who lived on/worked it.
now a days living in a house on a hill - just means you should be safe in the event of a flood!!

well the only reason i can think of it because some of the movies are usually ones that the house is on a hill or down or up away from every one...and i do not know what that one word you said at last even means.. maybe you misspelled the word..so i do not know if i can really make any sense of all this but i tried...

I have never heard of any one making fun of someone living on a hill. I can't think of a reason why they would.
