My son has a blanket with The Lord's Prayer on it.
Some good things would be a stuffed lamb, baby's first Bible,
a silver trinket box with her Baptism day engraved on it.
when my girls were little, I bought them each a sterling silver charm bracelet, and for each special occasion I bought them a new charm to signify the occasion. My ten year old will get her fully charmed bracelet as a gift for Christmas.

Try a blanket or something like that. I never heard of getting someone something just for a baptism. Of course, I don't believe in baptising babies either since they aren't even old enough to realize it.

I would say just being there is a big deal. But if you would like to give a material idea I think that a creative gift idea is wonderful. A bible would be nice too. I'd suggest asking her parents what they would like for her to have.

Your presents.... But honestly isn't a babtism more of a choice to except god into your life??? And how does a 16 month old that doesn't understand faith make a choice like that?

get a stuffed animal that says the prayer "now i lay me down to sleep", they sell them at most christian book stores, or maybe even a pretty bible with the the date and place of her baptism and that it was from you in the inscription, a pretty carrying case for the bible would be nice, too.

I would give her a little bible with her name imprinted in gold on it.
A lovely keepsake she can have to remember her special aunt by whenever she looks at it!
