I read a lot and have noticed that almost every book has a main character that has green eyes and another has smoky grey eyes. However, I rarely see anyone in real life with green or smoky grey eyes. Is it that I'm unobservant or are there really that many people with that color eyes? What color are your eyes? Mine are dark blue.

A redneck passed away and left his entire estate to his beloved widow but she can't touch it till she's 14.
How do you know when you are staying in a redneck hotel?
When you call the front desk and say I gotta leak in my sink and they reply, Go ahead.
Did you hear that they raised the drinking age to 32 for rednecks?
It seems they want to keep alcohol out of the high schools.
Two reasons why it is so hard to solve a redneck murder.
1) The DNA is all the same
2) There's no dental records
Who invented the toothbrush? A redneck if anyone else had done it..it would have been called a "teeth" brush.
A state trooper pulled over a pickup and asks the driver "Got any I.D.?" the driver replies "bout what?"
Did you hear the redneck governors mansion burned down? Yep, prit near took out the whole trailer park. The library was a total loss, too. Both books went poof...up in flames and the governor hadn't even finished coloring one of them.
Hope you got a chuckle today.

This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. By giving an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally. The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a decision. Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous. Please scroll down slowly and give due consideration to each line.

You are in Florida, Miami to be specific. There is chaos all around you caused by a hurricane with severe flooding. This is a flood of biblical proportions. You are a photojournalist working for a major newspaper, and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the
water. Nature is unleashing all of its destructive fury.

Suddenly you see a man floundering in the water. He is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken down with the debris. You move closer... somehow the man looks familiar. You suddenly realize who it is. It's George W. Bush! At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to pull him under.

You have two options-you can save the life of G.W. Bush or you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize winning photo, documenting the death of one of the world's most powerful men.

So here's the question, and please give an honest answer :

Would you select high contrast color film, or would you go with the classic simplicity of black and white?

As most of you know I have Old English Sheepdogs, or Bobtails as they are also called.
Here's my description.

Nature who made you rough and grey and meek,

Reft you of dogdom's silent power to speak,

Cut off your tribal customary flag,

And left you with nothing you could wave or wag.

Yet, still unfair herself, she made you fair,

A bob-tailed beauty in a mass of hair.

With two dark eyes on which her mind she spent,

To make them tender, wise, and eloquent.

I see these movies from the 40's and 50's where a guy who is with the woman he loves feels obligated to relinquish her to a rude or obnoxious man, or just a competitor or someone the woman doesn't like. Why? How did this custom get started? Why is the woman obligated to dance with whoever taps her man on the shoulder? Where is her choice in the matter? I just don't understand the social beliefs that supported this custom. Would someone please explain it to me?

Are you expecting company for Christmas? My friend is arriving tomorrow - and I am nervous and finding it hard to sit still.

There have been some pretty miraculous things happening, first was the price of the ticket - first time he checked it was $1565.00 - then his travel agent phoned and said they had just announced a seat sale - $371 - can your believe it?

I feel like I had miracles popping up all over, and I believe sincerely that y'all wonderful seniors have been the conduit (is that the right word?) to God -

Second miraculous thing is that he had the same experience I had, a sudden awakening, feeling fear, anger, anxiety and worries just melt away - and then a feeling of peace -- and happiness. I have been praying he would let God into his life.
And it has happened - the best Christmas present I could have, ever - and my son today - took me to my appt at the clinic and then told me he had embraced God in his life.

I am SO happy for all of us.
