This room is my favorite because below my window (bedroom is on second floor) is a running creek that is home to tens of ducks.

Outside my bedroom window... cool fresh air, tall pines, junipers, several bird feeders. It is nice!

The view from our bedroom window looks over the other houses where we live, a few very bare trees and the only wildlife are sparrows and the cat that belongs to a lady down the road. From the back bedroom window, there are lots of trees and a field that stretches for miles. I much prefer the view from the back bedroom coz we can see the different seasons unfolding in front of our eyes. The only good thing about the front bedroom is the beautiful sunrises every morning....wonderful colours painted across the sky and a good reminder that every day is a new day.

We are really lucky to have much the same as you - a lovely creek which is home to many different types of wild birds. We love to watch them , and listen to them - sometimes in the middle of the night, one duck will start to quack madly, and we always say that they must be telling jokes down there.

My back yard, with the patio, and grass lawn, and I have 5 different trees growing on the lawn. One has leaves all year long, and is my favorite. kind of looks like a weeping willow, but I forget the name of it. 2 have lost most of its leaves the Hackberry and the Indian bean tree, and the other two are flowering Pears and are different shades of red, yellow, orange Very bright colors and are very close to shedding most of the leaves. Another rain or windy day and they will be gone. And my spa in the corner of the yard.

Right beneath the window is a beautiful rhododendron bush that has ruby red flowers in the Spring. Further across the way is a red barn and a fence with three horses that frolic.

Your fortunate. Outside my window is a bush tree thing (which flares up my allergies in the summer) and my neighbors yard. The other window is about a 50 foot distance from the main highway.

When I woke up, I often see an illusion of peace and harmony out of my window... Then the tv and newspapers had to ruin it with all of these bad news(: Eh.. My laptop's Vista...I preferred XP, but then I don't mind Apple!

Cute! I have a view of two trees (very nice in fall and even winter) and a very nice view of the back of the house of the people who live behind us. They are apparently fairly nocturnal as the only time I ever really see them all awake and moving is around 10-11pm when my family is already in bed.
At my other house I have a view of a section of the roof, a clear view of a few neighbour's backyards, and most dominantly a forest. :)

P.S. Good question!

outside my bedroom window (at college) is a nice courtyard overlooking grassy areas and typical college life; on the other side are a bunch of dumpsters and some sort of odd-looking building... it gets really loud in the morning when they come to pick up garbage! but the courtyard side has a little racoon or kitty or squirrel- its quite entertaining, actually!
at home, it overlooks a peaceful backyard and suburban life- kids, kites, playgrounds, houses on streets with trimmed bushes and grass always cut on time...
