But when I looked at the size chart, the waist starts at 25". Is this the normal size for 'women's clothing?

We work in cm. But my tape has inches, and I am 20" or say 21" around the waist. And the pants were so nice. Can someone help?

Thanks

Have the first dance together, after the wedding speeches? They used to call it the first waltz.

If so, what was the name of the music you chose?

I was in the produce department (why does it always happen in the produce department?) when this cute young employee asked me if I was finding everything OK. I told him I needed to get some cheese. He took me to the other side of the store (I knew where the cheese was) and talked to me all the way. By the time we were there he wanted to know how old I was. I was 60 and he was 37! Then he told me he liked older women... I went home and told my husband. I thought it was pretty funny, but didn't go shopping there for a long time. He only lasted another month at that store. It sure made me feel good though!

My ex husband said he was working late, however in the background, there was music and people laughing. He also did not turn his cell phone off so i could hear ALL his conversations with friends I figured out where he was, so i walked up to the bar and took his truck and hid it. Many hours later he called to say his truck was "stolen", it was pretty hard to keep a straight face. The truck was gone for 2 day's before I told him where it was, I thought it was funny...You should have seen his face when I had to pick him up from the bar, since he was "working" in another city!

I am not going to get maudlin in drink - but it was such a sweet (and short) thing.

I fear that I am forever going to be just a lonely old hen lady.

Oh - I forgot - I don't have any hens now either!

What is there in life for me now?

A tattoo that no-one wants to see, an empty hen house and Mr. Eyedontnose permanently in the recovery position.

Hey ho!

When I went to the post office a while ago, I saw a rather elderly grey haired gentleman driving past me. His license plate read "Grumpa" and it made me smile. Have you seen any amusing plates lately?

I can't drive a stick shift. Well, second and third gears are fine, but first and reverse don't like me and I've never been able to get the hang of it. What have you found that you just can't seem to do, so you have given up trying to do it?

The current Readers Digest had a good article on the power of being thankful for what we have in our lives, and how despite the difficulties of any particular day, month, year, if we concentrate on the beauty and goodness around us, and actively be grateful for what we have, we make a major impact not only on ourselves but others around us. The studies pointed out some very good points. A link to the article follows. So, when life really sucks for you, do you dwell in it or do you purposely look for the things in you life for which you're thankful?

I was led to a site on childhood beliefs. Example: I used to believe that "help wanted" signs meant that someone had robbed the store very recently and needed help trying to catch the thief.

So I wonder, what things did you believe as a child?

Here is the site if you want to see more: http://www.iusedtobelieve.com/animals/
