But when I looked at the size chart, the waist starts at 25". Is this the normal size for 'women's clothing?

We work in cm. But my tape has inches, and I am 20" or say 21" around the waist. And the pants were so nice. Can someone help?

Thanks

You must be extremely tiny with a 20-21" waist. Most ladies clothes in the USA run in sizes 0,2,4,6,8,10, etc. to large sizes, although they can have a waist size chart I suppose. I've never bought them that way, unless I was purchasing men's pants-they are bought according to waist size.

edit: If you're 21 inches by US standards, you would be 53.3cm by your standards, if you're measuring correctly. Maybe that will help.

I was checking a LL Bean catalog, and the saw a
Waist 28-30 to be considered a size small. The I looked in an Orvis Catalog and 26 1/2 was considered extra small. So I guess you have a tiny waist compared to us hefty Americans. lol

I think the sizes can vary. When you measured did you wrap the tape around your natural waist or where you actually wear your pants? This may make a difference. Good luck

Oh, for the days when women wore corsets and tightened them sometimes to a 15" waist before passing out with 'the vapors'. You must have someone who can do alterations. Get the pants in the smallest size and have them altered when they arrive.

25' is a small waist size here. Yours is only 20?! There's only one thing I want to say to you.... eat something!! I don't mean anything bad, please don't take offense!
I would hate to measure my waist in cm's! I'm not overweight, but those cm's are tiny!
