Oh, baby... I wish I could fix your pain. There is always something else waiting for you around the next corner. Get out of the hen house and into the barn!!!!!!!!!

Oh Dear you are in the miseries aren't you. Well you might as well make use of Mr eyedontnose in the recovery position. Have you thought of putting some nice planter boxes on him and putting in some lovely flowers??? That would make him useful and give you something pretty to cheer you up. The tat can be a useful talking point when GW comes calling and you can always use the chook house for storing things like children, old goats and foxes. Perhaps not altogether tho. Oh heck, why not altogether what a laugh that would be and you sound like you need one.!!!
Hey Ho

When the rooster of your dreams comes to peek in the hen house at you, you'll know whether he is the right one or not. Maybe not immediately, but in time, you'll know. Don't dispare, don't be sad, but do be patient my dear. We don't always need a rooster crowing around the barn to be happy.
There will be other times. Just you wait and see.

The broken hearted have to keep on with their life's work-so keep writing. You'll never be a lonely old lady with all of us waiting to hear of your next adventure. Every time I step away a bit, I afraid I'll miss another exciting chapter.

I know you like the Senior section...but for a little bit...go over to the Mental Health section. People are over there trying to help each other thru all kinds of things. I don't say click on everything..just the things that draw you to them. You'll be surprised how much you get your mind on their problems and yours seem to ease. Since you're in the Senior section...you probably have a lot of experience and insight to share..and believe me..some of these people need it badly. I know you won't like their bad grammar...but try to look beyond it and see the broken hearts etc. Hope yours heals soon. I DO know what a broken, grieving heart feels like. Hang in there.

You need the Lord. When no one else loves you, God loves you. He promises never to leave us or forsake us. Which is truly more than most family or spouses promise. I'm 62 and I divorced at 29 and never remarried. The Lord is the father we never had. The Lord is the lover who always loves us. The Lord is protection and provision so we have need for nothing. The Lord is a comfort when trouble comes. And He is much, much more!
