Arrrrgh!

'Tis a query after me own heart. All good pirates captains know that a good case of the winds be the proper answer for a ship becalmed. We pirates consider such a wind a blessin'.

If ye be not at sea then thar be one other use for such a case of the winds. Get in the car with yer hubby, turn up the heat (this be workin' best in the winter when the victim must choose between freezin' temperatures and sufferin') and release yer gale forces. Any landlubber will surrender his booty!

You guys (oops I mean people) are a regular riot ! I can't type and think of anything witty to say but, when I was in nursing, after surgery the patients were encouraged to get up and walk around so they could get rid of gas. I remember one older lady apologizing for having some success at it and the charge nurse said ," don't apologize Mrs Jones, it's music to our ears!"

fer landlubbers, there be always the option of the spike thru the gut, ala that scene with the sheep in "far from the madding crowd" after they eat the bad weeds and blow up like balloons. remember that? or, maybe just easier to try some simethicone, which always worked well for our wee bairn.

Funny question & great honest answers.
Braking wind is a very natural body function that we have turned into a laughing matter & embarrassing situation.
On that note: Get some Beano, find a spot away (bathroom with reading material) from others & let her rip.
For Heaven's sake, don't drink any soda, like coke etc. The pain will be severe & the out come -painful.
