Is this blatant racism or what? I thought the dude was black because it was at a black school and they interviewed only black students. Come to find out he was white. Sad how the media works. They want everyone to believe it was a black boy.

"My audience has gone from being over 95 percent Black 10 years ago to over 95 percent white today," laments Boots Riley of the Coup, whose 1994 Genocide and Juice responded to Snoop Dogg's 1993 gangsta party anthem "Gin and Juice." "We jokingly refer to our tour as the Cotton Club," he says—a reference to the 1920s and '30s Harlem jazz spot where Black musicians played to whites-only audiences.

I was reading a question someone asked and this girl responded with this...read the question and her comment in it's entirety. The question is WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Americans think they have the best of everything in the world which is simply not the case. After traveling extensively, I came to realize that we have good life but not the best quality of life, not the best cities to live in, not the best serving government, not the best products , not the cleanest streets, not the best health care for masses, etc. But we can take pride in having least harmony among ethnic groups, most special interest serving government, lousiest social security system among industrialized countries, etc.
Most of us are like frogs in a well having never lived anywhere but only in the U.S we think we are the world. So we become very inward looking and fall behind.

I am a Filipina with Greek, French, Spanish, British and Indian mixes. I love south africa's cereal and red wine. I love korea's entertainment. India is so exotic! Medjugorie's for devout Catholics like me. I couldn't count the times someone asked me if i would endorse this watevr... But most filipinos think USA is the best place on earth. HOLYWOOD's almost swallowed the world's film industry. they should see Bollywood and movies from my beloved france. Most books are published in there. But on judgement day, they're going to suffer a lot and Australia will lead the world to peace. They're also the world's top energy users. They are sooo materialistic.
they can't bring that to Heaven. And to the americans who would read this, I'm not counting all of you. Just most of you.
Sorry if i hurt your feelings but i mean it

Does anyone else think Mt. Rushmore is disgusting? We come to America, kick the Indians off their land, and then carve a bunch of white men's faces into some of their most sacred land(which we gave back to them, btw, but that doesn't matter cause we'll still do whatever we want.) Borglum, the man in charge of the making of Mt. Rushmore, was even a known racist and had affiliation with the KKK. Red cloud and his indians needed supplies one winter(for fear of dying if they didn't get them). So red cloud cut a deal with Borglum. They could continue Mt. Rushmore as long as Borglum gave them supplies. Then they make Borglum look like such a nice guy by helping the Indians out, when in fact he was just out for his own benefit.

I'll never visit Mt. Rushmore. It's a disgrace to America.

I'm tired of you all making excuses about "all" Black colleges when there aren't any "all" White colleges. Both, Blacks and Whites, seem to always jump the fence on this issue. So lets set the record straight so you all can stop making this an issue.

If the school is predominately White, then it IS a White school.
If the school is predominately Black, then it IS a Black school.
If the school is predominately Indian, Hispanic, Native, Asian, etc., then it IS...

Even though it is predominately one race that does NOT mean other races do not attend the school, which is why in defense we say, "There is no such thing as an 'all' Black/White college".

Okay? Got it?!

Instead of complaining enjoy it for what it is, take advantage of the opportunities, or just transfer and keep your mouth shut.

She's a "full coverage" Barbie. LOL! What's next? "Berka Barbie"?

I will admit, she always looked like she was dressed a little skimpy, but is this going too far or is is PC to include little girls from all cultures?

What's your opinion on this?

Society is facing a steady decline in the way we treat each other in society. If the old way is the best way, why do old ways become obsolete? It truly is time for change. I wake up in the morning, watch the news and listen to the travesties that occur that are mostly based on the appearance of the person instead of whatever their character flaws could be. When you look at me, can u see that I love football more than the average girl likes to shop?... can you see that I work eighty hours a week and go to school part time because I want nothing but the best for myself? Or do you just see that I look black, so I must be like all your stereotypical beliefs about them?

Truth is, I'm French, Haitian and Scottish and very proud. But I'm just curious, when you look at a person, do you see them for who they are (human) or do you notice their ethnicity?

Just looking for some thoughts...
