I think the caste system holds India back more than the large population. Denying a large part of the population the benefit of improving their lot in life, getting education and better jobs will drag an entire society down. I hope no one takes offense at this opinion, I mean it in a purely disattached third party sort of way and not a slight on anyone's culture.

technology has a way of dragging people along with it, India is growing in technology almost on a daily basis and taking it's people with it. True they would do better faster if they initiated population control, but they will develop with out it, after all look at the US, as much as they need population control, they do not have it either.

Its time for True indian to decide about population control in benifit of country's development.we do not our future generation suffer coz of too many people in India.
