If your referring to cultures or races that have had an influence on America, it is the Portuguese and the Scandinavians, when Rome was conquering Europe, the Portuguese and Scandinavians were conquering the oceans and were well aware of the land we know now as America

Yup, I agree. Native Americans... we're not forgotten but we certainly are ignored for the most part. Some people dont even think they still exist and when they see one they're like ohh my godd!! or ohhhh look!
