She's a "full coverage" Barbie. LOL! What's next? "Berka Barbie"?

I will admit, she always looked like she was dressed a little skimpy, but is this going too far or is is PC to include little girls from all cultures?

What's your opinion on this?

Before anyone misreads what I am asking here, let me say I have no problem with Barbie, or any other doll, being tweaked for other cultures.

Tis sad some cultures cover up their women instead of controlling their men.

Link, please! I'd like to know exactly what you mean by "full coverage".

FWIW, Mattel has been producing Barbies of different world cultures for over 25 years, all dressed in native fashions.

You mean she actually wear clothes that cover her stomach and thighs?? Well I think its good, little girls don't need to grow up wanting to dress like a skimpy whore.

She has to get a new look now that she's back on the dating scene-I'm still laughing at the fact they made her dump Ken. : )
Personally, I don't think it's a bad idea. If your kid wants slutty go for the Brats dolls.

I'd say it's Mattel wanting to make as much money as possible. I doubt they care about being PC. They just want the cash.

Just another example of PC in action, or overreaction, take you pick.
