Does our media just not report it or does it not exist. Seems like they would be against the terrorist killing innocent people in Iraq, Lebanon, palestine, Sudan. maybe I am wrong.

A lot of people pick on the Christian Religion, Mormon, Muslim teachings, etc.

But why is Buddhism more accepted today in our society in Western and Eastern cultures?

I've checked my crayola box and I've met some very fair skinned people and some very dark skinned people, but not one of them was truly white or truly black. Most "white" people are really peach or beige, and most "black" people are really brown. What gives? Would anyone really want to be true black or white?

Why do white women get wrinkled so fast!!! Black women usually dont start getting them until thier about 50. I seen this white couple in the mall a few days ago right, the husband was kinda good lookin he looked like he was about 35 but his wife looked like she was damn near 50. She had wrinkles all in the crack of her mouth && eyes. so ugly. Why do they age so fast? Why don't white men age as fast as white women?

I know a community activist who believes in the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. I don't know why he has chosen to believe this rubbish, but he's also a big believer in conspiracies. Then there's Jesse Jackson's reference to Hymietown, Al Sharpton talking about diamond merchants, Leroi Jones belief that Israeli's knew about 9/11 in advance, etc.

I address this becaue I am friends with several people of different backgrounds. I have known them most of my life. None of them really concern themselves with the racism issue. In fact, one mentioned that the 'Race Card' is often played to acquire an advantage in a given situation. People will often back off when being accused of being even remotely racist or racially insensitive.
If you're black, Chinese, Asian, Jewish etc....just because you may have been called a name before, does that mean that there is this huge "racial" problem is society? Or, is the hype created and pushed along more for the industry it creates. It keeps the Al Sharptons of the world in business.
On a side note, whites get called names and accused of this and that everyday....yet you hear little complaining about it...even when whites are the minority.
Personally, I think that it is more hype than actual fact.

Is this psychological in the sense that you want to feel that you're dealing with a person?

Hi! I want to know what you all think about global poverty. Can it be stopped? What causes it? (there are many, often indirect causes)

What do you think about the Make Poverty History campaign (the One campaign)?

What are you, or anybody you know, doing to help end global poverty?

most of what we call discovery or new inventions are not really new. They are just new applications of existing knowledge or technology. Machines are not new. They have gotten smaller, and now there are machines that use electricity. But electricity was known to by the earliest civilization (they just had no use for it). the bible says man was made of clay. Two thousand years later man finally discovers that DNA is a clay like substance.

I've heard there was controversy about Nell Carter's role in Gimme a Break! being too mammy-like. I never got that impression when I watched the show.
