most of what we call discovery or new inventions are not really new. They are just new applications of existing knowledge or technology. Machines are not new. They have gotten smaller, and now there are machines that use electricity. But electricity was known to by the earliest civilization (they just had no use for it). the bible says man was made of clay. Two thousand years later man finally discovers that DNA is a clay like substance.
