Why do white women age so damn fast!!?

Why do white women get wrinkled so fast!!! Black women usually dont start getting them until thier about 50. I seen this white couple in the mall a few days ago right, the husband was kinda good lookin he looked like he was about 35 but his wife looked like she was damn near 50. She had wrinkles all in the crack of her mouth && eyes. so ugly. Why do they age so fast? Why don't white men age as fast as white women?

I know, right? I am a white woman, and it sucks! "Black don't crack" and "Asians ain't agin'" but it sucks to be an aging white woman!

I'm a white woman that doesn't age fast. Part of it has to do with my height, so people think I'm a kid, but my face looks young too. I am 33, and people usually mistake me for anything from ages 12 to 20 (if I'm lucky, they think I'm older than 21). People can't believe I have 3 kids, and look at my 45 year old husband like he must be some sort of pedophile because I look young. It is bothersome to be treated younger than my actual age, but I would much rather have this than be aging like a prune right now.

Acutally, I'm European/Lebanese and hardly anyone in my family has any kind of wrinkles. My grandmum, at the age of 75, only had a slight amount of wrinkles about the eyes.

And I think its because many whites believe they are unstoppable as they're young, so they don't wear sunscreen to protect their skin, which is more susceptible to being damaged from the sun since they have fairer skin than black women. The lack of sunscreen mixed with pale skin causes early wrinkles. Whereas for a black woman, her skin's darker because of the higher concentration of melnin in her skin, thus causing better protection against the sun, even though black women may get wrinkles as early as white women do. The main factor is just how everyone, as a whole, takes care of their skin.

White skin is caused by a variation (perhaps a mutation) in some of the genes controlling the level of melanin (pigment) in the skin.

People with less melanin are more vulnerable to the destructive effects of UV light from the sun. People with white skin will get sunburn more easily. Over time, this exposure to UV light causes premature aging of the skin and a very high risk of skin cancer.

I live in Australia were the vast majority (97%) of the population over 30 years old has white skin. To top it off, this is a hot country and also has a hole in the ozone layer. 2 out of three people here get skin cancer.

Her aged skin could be the result of not taking proper precautions in her younger years when out in the sun. White skin doesn't hold up as well to sun damage as darker skin. I agree with you 100% though, I have always envied black women for their beautiful skin. I used to work with a black woman who was in her 50's and ready to retire and she had the most gorgeous skin I've ever seen and she did not look a day over 35. If it hadn't been for a bit of gray hair, I would never been able to come close to guessing her age..well that plus the fact that she was getting ready to retire.

Men age better and this is a fact. I always believed black women where so much more fun loving and less austere so they aged less fast because their playfulness and good nature came out. I’m white so i hope no one thinks i’m racist but it’s true. I guess it’s also the complexion. Maybe dark complexions conceal wrinkles better. Also if you have noticed, fatter women white or black, age less fast. Skinny women tend to hollow with age and just look gaunt. But you were right about the man, there is definitely something very nice about a mature man.

Well as a 46 yr old white woman I can attest to the fact I do not look 46, more 35. Main reason is because I am not a "tanner"; I protect my skin; I don't clog my pores with make-up; I wash and moisturize my face every night. Most women tan, they don't have a cleansing ritual, they have extreme road rage (stress will age you faster than anything) and they think they can do it all. Most do not know how to take time from everybody else and just relax. That's not being selfish, that's just taking care of yourself once in awhile. Amost forgot the most important thing ---- DON'T SMOKE. (I honestly observe more white women (teens included) smoking than I ever see black or asian women smoking.

The sun. The climate of this country is much to harsh for fair skinned individuals, and you'll find that more than just white women are effected. It is true that people with skin containing more melanin tend to fair better in hotter climates, but then again, a lot of white women do other things to themselves in their obssession with beauty such as tanning beds. Yeah, lie under direct UV radiation and see what happens. UV radiation damages skin, causes premature wrinkling, and can lead to skin cancer, yet a lot of white people tan themselves using this method. It is a wonder people are unable to but 2 and 2 together.

Everyone ages at their own rate, regardless of race. I know some 80 year old white women who look they are 50 and vise versa. The same goes for men and women of all races.

However, white people may be more prone to premature wrinkling simply because they sunburn faster than their darker-skinned friends, and sun damage leads to wrinkles.

Because black people have more Melanin in their skin than light skinned (white) people. It protects them from sunlight and they age slower. As far as the white men aging slower than white women. I can't agree with that...it is all in the way a person lives and takes care of themselves...when you say the women had wrinkles around her lips etc...perhaps she is a smoker...they tend to get those really bad. We also say when men get older they look more distinguished.

They have less pigment in their skin than black women. The lighter skin leaves them more open to sun damage. Which cause the wrinkles and ages a person. This is why black people usually look much younger and age better. White men probably age as fast, they just carry it better. The little wrinkles are more "distinguished" looking on men, so it doesn't seem as aging.
