For me, I think it's because its the quickest and easiest way to "having a good time." You dont have to count the cost, you just live in the here and now. It temporarily fills a void in your life; the problem is, it never lasts. You constantly have to replace it with more wrong choices. It takes dicipline to look down the road, to the end result. What will be best then is not what is most fun today. True happiness comes from making right choices. For example, someone who chooses to do drugs because it makes them feel good are not looking to the end of that road where they are sitting homeless, in some dark alley, in misery because now their body is ruined and wasted and there is no money left to buy what their body is convulsing for. And they gave everything they had for this..which in the end is nothing. I think wrong always looks better because we arent looking FAR enough down the road of life to see where it ends. On the other hand, going to college straight out of highschool might not look like the fun thing to do, but at the end of that road you have a great education, a good job, and a nice home for your family to live in.

I think it's 'cause the world we've made is more than half upside down and you have to be smart to be 'good and smart'. Like they say, it works if you work it. How come doing what's wrong doesn't work. Same principle. What works is right, if it works in the long run. What's right works, but like anything you have to know how to work it. There are some rules. Check out the link below for Christian D. Larson's free classic on the subject,

it doesnt! some kid crashed into my car five times with his push bike and now i have huge dents in the side of my car..few nights before that stole my number plate. i didnt ask for it, i was just at work for a few hours at night when this happened... now to him he thought that he had to do it to be 'cool' and to be accepted in front of his mates..... so yes he felt he had to do wrong to look good.... however, he will own a car one day and in the end he knew it DID not pay off.... in conclusion.... it may seem to look better to do wrong, but IN THE END it doesnt pay.... stick to being a good person and keep doing right.... remember doing right never looks bad.....

Right and wrong are part of the set up of human blueprint to learn lessons from..........
it is easier to learn from our mistakes, so we sub-consciously place these in our path when we're ready to learn certain things.
