I don't think prisoners in any country should have those things, They are supposed to be punished for their crimes. The men and women in service fighting overseas don't have things like that.Let some of those prisoners go overseas and fight in a war and see how they like it! It's time we stop coddling the prisoners!

And they say crime doesn't pay? Many good citizens struggle to buy the luxuries in life! Prisoners should be made to pay for their crimes not given any priveleges.
We pay taxes to keep this lot happy! If we stopped giving the government our hard-earned cash we would soon be locked up and the key thrown away!

Prisoners should not get any luxuries at all. They are locked up for a reason. A murderer shouldn't be watching tv, he should be getting the same treatment he gave his victim.

Could you give a bit more information on this..?
i.e. are they in the cells or just in the common rooms, do all prisioners have access to them or just the ones on lesser sentences?
Have you ever visited a prision? How much do you really know about this?

Well no wonder crime is so high in the UK, if people can have things in prison that they cant afford at home! Take away all their privilages and bring back corporal punishment, thats what I say!
