US and English Canada - the UK
Quebec - France
Brazil - Portugal
Mexico and Spanish speaking Latin America - Spain
Suriname - Netherlands
All of the Americas were founded by colonists from Europe, so the former colonies have the most in common with the countries that founded them.
Please spell check your question. You also used the plural form of America so I answered for THE AMERICAS which includes all the major countries I mentioned.
The other answers are correct if you were only asking about the UNITED STATES of AMERICA.

Judging by the way America markets it's own culture the whole of Europe will have something in common with it. Can you mention a country in Europe that does not have a burger bar and broadcast MTV? Apart from Vatican City.

the UK of course. British culture is dominate in many parts of the US. Mexican Americans may identify with Spain, and Asian Americans identify with their home country, but we see the UK and Canada as being extensions and deritive culture of a single society.

Actually I think they're more like the Australians. But of course they get their nationalistic, rah-rah-we're-the-greatest attitude from the English.
