I know a community activist who believes in the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. I don't know why he has chosen to believe this rubbish, but he's also a big believer in conspiracies. Then there's Jesse Jackson's reference to Hymietown, Al Sharpton talking about diamond merchants, Leroi Jones belief that Israeli's knew about 9/11 in advance, etc.

Anti-semitism among the Black community is unfortunate, its hard to understand. During the Freedom Marches in the 1960's a lot of the marchers were Jewish, a lot of the attorneys who established Civil Rights for Blacks in the courts were Jewish. I don't think all Blacks are anti-semitic, but there does seem to be a higher rate of it than among non-Blacks. Why? I don't want to offend anyone by saying this, if it is offensive, I apologize, but I would think it might be the greater influence of Islam in the Black community, and Islam's historic anti-semitism. But there could be other reasons. The Black community in many cities is also rather anti-Korean, because Korean immigrants often run the small stores in the Black community. Perhaps Jewish merchants ran, or used to run such stores, and they might have been considered exploititive. Anyway, I wish it were not there. We are all on the same ship, we need to all work together.

Baraka is an irrelevant activist, but a good poet.

Jews were only white people who would deal with Blacks for decades in their 'business or markets'. So, the heat or hatred of racism fell upon them.
