The Black images such, as these are White constructs to continue the campaign to destroy the positive image of the Black race. People identify with characters on TV and what you view on the image creator people start believing as true or wide spread thus it becomes the stereotype. The White men that program television are well aware of its social impact.
If Whites really wanted the problem to go away it would get rid of the negative images on TV and let the die out. The elite are the most prejudice of all people on this planet and they are creating their Caucasian race as superior with every image that is shown through all media forms. You only need open your eyes to see this truth.
The images that are portrayed is not match by other none White cultures and this makes it hard for these culture to blend with the so called mainstream that drives corporate culture as well and all other forms of employment.
Oh yea, Whites have it good but it will come at a very steep price in the end. It may even cause the fall of the United States if the power elite does not change its agenda. All the arrogant, prideful, and superior thinking Whites are all for keeping their quality of life at the expense of all others cultures and the world will not tolerate it forever.
It is time we start sharing all knowledge and opportunities with all people of different races to ensure the longevity of the Caucasian race, which is not better than any other. Our sins are catching up to us now in the form of global warming and hate.

My mom is nanny to a little black girl. She calls my mom Nanny, and it is not racist at all. It is a very fulfilling job. It is like having another kid. So, I think it is just that movies stereotype Mammy as a poor, black woman with bad grammar. The reality is that Mammys and Nannys make good money and play a big role in educating a child.

"Gone With the Wind" comes to mind.
The old "Tom and "Jerry cartoons have the mammy in them. The mammy image in the cartoons definitely reflects a negative image.
Now a new generation of children (unless taught otherwise) will learn that negative stereotype because the cartoons have been issued on DVD.

Lawd how mercy chile . Hollywood only showed that image in movies which led some people to believe that was the norm for Black folks. The media has done better in potraying Blacks in a more positive image instead of playing maids, crooks ,ect.

it represents the big slave woman who tended to masters children, cooked his food, cleaned his house, and picked his cotton. Personally I think it is a little overboard, Slavery happened, that doesn't mean everything has to be about it now though.
