Why? What is the point in this...do we have a special month for every kind of ethnic race? I think it is very pointless. I'm not racist but I don't understand why set up a month like this.

Why do black people always think white people are out to get them or owe them something? I personally feel I don't owe anyone anything. We aren't in 1800's anymore so just get over it. It's not like anyone you know is still enslaved or is a slave master.

I believe that once people of every race and culture stop trying to identify themselves as a different race or color then thats when racism will stop. Does anyone know what i mean? Just because you are white dont mean you are better, or just because you are black shouldnt mean you get special benefits (affirmative action), or just because you are Indian you get the right to casinos, or if you are a women you dont have to participate in the draft...

I mean come on...get over yourself.

I got a call the other day and the person over the phone asked my race and I said Hispanic and he said that was my ethnicity, he said my race was Latin...
I thought ethnicity was related to your nationality-origin and race with your skin color. Now, I got totally confuse!
Can you help me? How do you understand the difference between race and ethnicity?

work hard for a living. Don't tell me it's because blacks were brought here against there free will either, because you are more than welcome to move to Africa. They aren't doing to well over there though are they? Respect is earned not given. I work with three men from Nigeria and one from Senegal, and they think the unnacountability in the African American community is an embarrassment to black people around the world. Come on apologists, let's hear the excuses.

My wife and I want to avoid the cookie cutter homes and have found that Oak Cliff has a ton of those old craftsman style homes that have been restored. This is sort of a two part question:
1. Is it as nice as I hear? I've been told that the area is flourishing.
2. Is it safe to live in (my wife is very nervous about the very thought of moving there)?

Both sets of my grandparents live in Oak Cliff and my parents were both raised there, but they live(d) in South Oak Cliff.

Whites ALWAYS had a advantage in life!

The New Deal
The Naturalized Act of 1790
The Indian Removal
Jim Crow
REDLINING
Social Security ACt
Wagner Act
New white immigrants received funding while blacks were EXCLUDED from social security benefits and buying homes.
EVEN NOW, BLACKS AND HISPANIC 60% are turn down for mortgages and pay high interest! How are blacks able to built wealth when their past generations have no INHERITANCE?

Dilemmas:1)I cannot use Cox because I have an old bill with them for $400.00 and am not ready or practical for me to afford to pay this bill at this time as Iam on a fairly tight budget right now with rent food etc.
2)Quest dose not offer internet service (just dial up) in my area.
3)Although my laptop is wireless yet even if I tried to access an unsecured network they are out of range.
Has anyone got any clever answers to my current plight to achieve internet access? Is my only option to get dial up?

How well do you think Native American organizations, like the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI), and the National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA), are helping Native Americans to advance? Explain your answer. If anything, what are organizations like these doing to mitigate tribal poverty, and encourage prosperity?

As a whole, we have always been classy, religion based, and virtuous women. We never resorted to skin tight clothing because we always had nice figures and did not need to. We could wear a business suit and still have the hourglass figure. We have always been copied and envied. We were always the trend setters. So why are we now copying women that with the camel toes and tight tight tight clothing. Some have to but we do not.We raised our children to be obedient, and we were NEVER easy. There use to be nothing more beautifulk than the way that a black woman dressed. Sheek, classy, and conservative. The way that we dressed and carried ourselves demanded respect. Black men I welcome your comments.

We are gathering supplies to send to troops overseas. We would like to consider our African American soldiers, and send things necessary to their hygeine/beauty needs, ie: conditioner, do-rags. Any help would be greatly appreciated; No disrespect intended! :o)

A democracy is supposed to give all people, regardless of their ethnicity, sex, economic status, religion, etc, a voice, vote, chance to succeed. yet since, in America, and Europe, racism, sexism, classism, etc are rampant, is it that these regions are UNDEMOCRATIC, or is DEMOCRACY itself flawed!?!?
