girl don't even worry about the difference about the two. just make sure that you always call both of them "papi." Lol lol

There is a difference, but it's slight....like someone already mentioned it would be the same as saying "honey" or "darling".

I've never heard latinos calling there girlfriends "mama" though....mamacita and mami yes.

No difference, only the one who's saying mami is saying it because it's the spanish way of saying mama, and the one who says mama is just saying it the english way.

mami means sweetheart or loved one

mama MAY mean the same

That may be the difference, otherwise I don't see any difference.
It' s the same as if they would call you "honey" or "sweetie".
