EVEN NOW, BLACKS AND HISPANIC 60% are turn down for mortgages and pay high interest! How are blacks able to built wealth when their past generations have no INHERITANCE?

Because Affirmative Action is the act of giving preference or non preference to a certain group of individuals based on nothing but RACE. Is that not racist? True racism is to treat someone (color ignored) differently from others, whether that treatment is better or worse is irrelevant, what matters is that having multiple scales of treatment based on race is racism.

You obviously have the mistaken opinion that White people all get issued some form of inheritance that sets them on the path to glory. LOL..you couldn't be more wrong. Do they owe you something? For what? Slavery? You werent' there. Know who started slavery? The African Tribal leaders started it, that's who. When a conquered tribe was not needed as SLAVE labor, they would either be killed or sold, so slavery has existed well before the white people came along, they participated, no doubt, but didn;t create it.

When you, as the individual who asked this question, will be able to accomplish something is when you realize that when you take pride in yourself, set your goals high, and remain true to your values and work hard then and only then can you be FREE AT LAST, FREE AT LAST.

They believe it is racism, because it has allowed blacks to now live in their back yards. It lets us into the ivy league and us obtain jobs that would have not even considered us for (without looking at credentials). It gives us a chance that SOME people feel we shouldn't have. It isn't racism. A person without color can work at a grocery store and afford a 5 bedroom home. A person of color has to show everything under the sun, and make more than a decent amount to own something. It's just not fair. No one knows until they walk in someone else's shoes. I don't want or need a handout. This country needs to stop being so racist.

Affirmative action. Why say it's reverse racism.? I heard a black man say that if 10% of jobs are held back for blacks then doesn't that assure that 90% are held open for whites?
why not hire based on qualifications, yep that cuts me out of a bunch too but it's fair ain't it? Race shouldn't be a factor.
Inheritance, really how many rich folks are 3rd or even 2nd generation rich? do you personally know many? usually the dumb spend all their money quickly & folks who learned about wealth properly stay that way or get there regardless of heritage.

Whites DO NOT always have an advantage. You are wrong for beleiving this. There are more poor white Americans than poor black americans.

So, if you are allowed into a school based upon the color of your skin, and not based upon the merit of your school work, then you are being given a break due to your race. In the meantime, some white kid who does have the grades to get into college gets denied because they needed to make room for the less intelligent minority. Thats reverse racism. Deal with it.

Im hispanic. I have fine credit. I dont get turned down. 60% of blacks and hispanics are turned down because of their lousy credit and inability to handle finances well. Stop wasting money on grillz and 20" dubs. Save, invest and improve your credit score.

seriously i dont care anymore, we have affirmative action therefore i cant be discriminated against, so i aint complaining.

and blacks can build wealth we just choose to spend it on crap like $100 new shoes every month, there are so many scholarships for minorities and most of us choose to throw it away. i mean asians are able to come over here with nothing and end up with way more than we do, they use th resources available to them. we get a free education in this country and we choose to use school as the runway, there are kids in africa who would love to go to school, girls over there prostitute themselves to pay for school

the white man has done a lot but our actions dont help the situation either. if we were actually trying to do something and got turned down then i would cry racism, most of us sit and play the race card for no good reason

well.....now blacks are choosen over whites for jobs and other things which is racism.....if a black person walked in for a job and they told them we want to hire the white instead because they're white.........then they're would be a huge issue.....also why should people that weren't even alive during segregation or slavery suffer and not get jobs? all because of what happened.... by the way not many whites are rich and they can build their own wealth so...........blacks are now given equal opportunity

I understand what your saying and especially after reading that article. You know, white people invented the concept of race and many of them still cling to that idea. I copied and pasted this paragraph. I thought it went well with what your trying to say.

I'm not sure, but I am Mexican-American and I saw this guy on YouTube he is an African-American author and he was urging African-Americans that the only solution to "this problem" is to "find a way to kill white people". He was like just straight up trying to recruit black people to join and find a way to exterminate the white race. I can almost guarantee if a white man came on TV saying such a thing about black people, everyone would have a fit. It's true.

It's definitely harder to get by as a black person, but most blacks aren't doing much to better themselves. There is a lot of blame to go around, and until black people are able to accept any of the blame, nothing will ever change. Where are the postive black leaders?
