As a whole, we have always been classy, religion based, and virtuous women. We never resorted to skin tight clothing because we always had nice figures and did not need to. We could wear a business suit and still have the hourglass figure. We have always been copied and envied. We were always the trend setters. So why are we now copying women that with the camel toes and tight tight tight clothing. Some have to but we do not.We raised our children to be obedient, and we were NEVER easy. There use to be nothing more beautifulk than the way that a black woman dressed. Sheek, classy, and conservative. The way that we dressed and carried ourselves demanded respect. Black men I welcome your comments.

Jubiliant...that is really sad. Sadly, things that we do, oftentimes make it look bad for the race.

I agree with you my sister. We have always been trendsetters and often imitated. It is up to us to school the next generation. Oh yeah, Jubilant I feel sorry for you.You need to get a clue on what's real.

Speak for yourself, "sista". I'm doing perfectly fine with my life. Don't put us all into the same category. For every black woman who thinks they they have to dress and act a certain way there's another black woman who doesn't give a crap.

And for the young lady who said I need to get a clue, what exactly are you talking about? Am I not allowed to have a mind of my own? Should I believe everything else "the sistahs" believe? Re-evaluate your comments.

I refuse to be forced into a mold that I don't fit in. You should do the same.

Classy sisters are outnumbered by chicken heads, thats for sure.

I more concerned about the black women driving the economy with all the frivolous spending (I know brothers are doing it to, but sisters are worse).

well, something is UP in the SOCIETY- and I cannot put my finger on it. In the meantime, let's not pretend that we are one big group that is identical. I talk to the young girls around me when I can- and explain the difference between sexy and trashy...some hear the difference- others don't.
