i'm italian and when i go abroad i see that italians are seen just like the ones who invented pizza, who brought mafia and who have no rules at all. it's a pitty that you think those things about us because they're not true!! you should come here and admire our wonderful land and people!! i love my italy (i'm sorry if i've made some grammatical mistakes!!) ciao!

Please read my entire answer. When I was 3, my mom married an Italian & his family hated my mom & us for not being Italian so as a kid I wasn't fond of them but then I grew up & my twin sister married one. Oh my God, Italians are so loyal. My brother in law is the best thing that has happened to my family. His family is wonderful to me & my daughter. So growing up I had based my opinion on Italians by one family which was a huge mistake & something that I make sure my daughter never does .

I live in a city that is 50% Italian and I think they are wonderful, honest, and very straight forward people with a unique culture and wonderful food.

the mafia was started to help the oppressed, and whether or not the USA likes to admit it, it did help our economy.
I always seem to make friends with people then find out they are Italian, I don't see them as any different then any other white people
