I've read that Elvis is being deemed a Rock n Roll icon and a pioneer. What! All he did was take on an African American culture and he got popular. The perplexing thing is this, Chuck Berry, Little Richard and countless other black artists came before him. What the heck is this? Why would he be deemed as the pioneer, he didn't come before Chuck Berry or Little Richard. This brings me to my next question is he deemed as such (pioneer) because he is white. Eminem is also the same as Elvis, he is considered a Pioneer? There are better rappers than Em, but how come he gets more attention. At the same time some say he's an imitation of the real thing. N sync, 98 degrees and the Back Street Boys are all the same examples. Justin Timberlake is manufactured to sell, he has no vocal skills or range; Timberlake is trying to hard in my eyes. Why the attention?

I have only just discovered this section and its full of racial hatred. I cannot believe what im reading here. It is disgusting and makes me sick to my stomach. I thought people were moving past this superficial arguement on race, but after seeing what is being discussed here, I dont know anymore. Why are you people so full of hate and intolerance? I know most people here are american, but is this really what your country is like, full of racial hatred? I never want to go there if this is a reflection of the real america. Did any of you racists go to school, get a degree? Have you travelled outside your ignorant bubble? Dont you know that using the term race when talking about humans is incorrect? There are no biological difference between humans so using the term race is now outdated and old fashioned. I am seriosly shocked and disgusted to see the level of hate here. Does anyone else have a problem with this?

they are only interesting because they are of a certain minority, does that make you a racist? I'm not talking about dating or becoming friends with someone because their race. why do asians have the reputation of not knowing how to drive? Me and my friends were driving to the mall today, and my friend who was driving was getting angry at the driver in front of her. so when we went to pass him up, she said,"Oh, he's asian. That explains it." And my other friend who is Asian was sitting in the back seat. just laughing about it. And my friend who was driving said, "No offence." And my asian friend said, "none taken. I know we can't drive." So do they like drive too slow or what? I don't get it.

how can you change their perception of you? I am a veryyyy shy person and it may appear as though I am standoffish, but in reality, I am not very good at approaching people that I don't know very well... I try to become more outgoing, but I'm sure that a lot of folks have already developed their impression of me, but is there any way that I convince them otherwise? Or should I stop focusing on receiving other's acceptance on me, and work on being more friendly to new folks?

were not the same!
first off we arent mostof the time as thick as you(unless your mexican) and second of all we come in a lot more color ranging from the dark dominicans to light brazilians and puerto ricans i just wanna tell you were not the same theres a diffrence...and we dont have the same butts.most of the time black butts are jiggly and nasty while our b utts are firm and big(not wide)

we obviously aren't! okay we are suprisingly all humans. though i wouldn't be too sure for some certain groups. Just because all the people can, well most people can mate with one another. That doesn't make them the same race! There is so much differences between "ethnicities." Physical charaacteristics. Small eyes, big eyes, large lips, small things, bone structure, and their innate culture.

I am an American and I have heard several people when I went to Britain tell me that they thought the irish were the stupid ones.
I even met an irish guy that said that it was indeed a stereotype atleast in history as well as today.
is this true?
