I have only just discovered this section and its full of racial hatred. I cannot believe what im reading here. It is disgusting and makes me sick to my stomach. I thought people were moving past this superficial arguement on race, but after seeing what is being discussed here, I dont know anymore. Why are you people so full of hate and intolerance? I know most people here are american, but is this really what your country is like, full of racial hatred? I never want to go there if this is a reflection of the real america. Did any of you racists go to school, get a degree? Have you travelled outside your ignorant bubble? Dont you know that using the term race when talking about humans is incorrect? There are no biological difference between humans so using the term race is now outdated and old fashioned. I am seriosly shocked and disgusted to see the level of hate here. Does anyone else have a problem with this?

Yes, I agree. At first I tried answering some of these people, then I realized it was spit in the wind. Sometimes, l just come in to give thumbs up or down in this category; anything more is often a wasted effort. I'd like to think that if we looked carefully enough, we'd find the same people over and over again in the rants and diatribes. Some mean it and some - I think - just like to get people going.
It is common enough that these folks now have a name: "trolls", so you'll see a lot of remarks about life under the bridge and not feeding the trolls.
Certainly there are people here in America who are racist. It has been here a long time, and more recently, it's on the rise in Europe. And it's no stranger to any continent. It is hard to distinguish from "nationalism". But if there are mostly Americans on the yahoo answers, then the number of American "racists" is going to appear disproportionately high.
As long as there are groups, there is going to be the "us v. them" dynamic.

I find it hard to believe the country you are from has no bad people in it. Are Americans bad because we let it fly and non-Americans aren't so free, I don't think so. My friends aren't full of hatred and intolerance but to say it doesn't exist isn't true at least in America we have the ability to evolve, some prefer , I acknowledge, to stay behind but with freedom you can get ugliness like the KKK. And who are you to decide what is wrong and what is right for anyone? For all I know, you could be a hypersensitive 24 year old who has only known people just like herself . If you choose never to come to the USA , you will be missing out on the best and worst of humanity, play it safe for you and us, stay where you are.

Take it easy, f_jayce. No, the racism and general spitefulness on these forums is not even remotely typical of Americans. That's why those people come online to spew hatred: they can't find any others whose thinking is as skewed as their own. Unfortunately the internet gives hateful people as much voice as sane ones, but it's mostly the hateful ones who flock here, I suspect because they have nowhere else to go. If you are so inclined, you might pray for them.

You know, I'm an old White man and have been labeled everything that you can think of and then some; it doesn't mean anything at all. Most people come on here, at least in the culture section to flirt, have fun and vent. Anybody that doesn't take it for what it is is a fool.

Yes i do. When I first came to this section of Yahoo Answers I was surprised they even put these racist questions up. But you have to remember that most likely the people posting these ignorant and racist questions are either lonely, have nothing better to do, or are upset with their own life.

yeah ive felt that before, why does everyone have to have a label on what race they are? it doesnt feel right i always feel guilty when i have to say a person by their race for whatever reason
