i am dark and there have been people who say,"wow you're very beautiful!" and people who say,"ur really ugly"... so what do you guys think?

Situation:
On the train, quietly sit down, read a book. Why is that so surprising to whites especially the looks on their faces. Oh and what about the black that dress fashionable and not fat but tall and skinny like me? Why is that such a big deal. what r whites thinking????

I'm a white male and this may not be my place to comment but I want to know what people think.

Generally speaking do you think Hispanic women pull off the curvy/voluptuous figure better then other women? I'm not sure about Asian women because they are usually thin, and white women can pull it off too sometimes, but I noticed Hispanic women tend to pull it off better then everyone usually. It just seems when Hispanic women have extra weight it usually goes to all the right places, you can see it in Hispanic celebrities like Salma Hayek, J-Lo, America Ferrera, ect. I think Hispanic women have really popularized that figure in the last couple of years and made big butts, thighs, and breasts mainstream when in the past it was looked down upon.

BTW, this doesn't mean I think Hispanic women are better then white or Asian women. I think Hispanic, Asian, and White women are equally beautiful. While I think Hispanic women tend to carry extra weight better, I also think white women are amazingly cute, sweet, and sexy. And Asian women are usually exotic, mysterious, and have great personalities also.

Please nobody get offended these are generalization but I was wondering if you think there is any truth to them?

I'm aware that the correct term is "Roma" but if I had put that in the title I think most people would not know what I meant.

Anyway, I've been wondering, does it seem like this is the last acceptable form of racism? I've seen a lot of offensive jokes and just outright hatred towards this ethnic group on yahoo answers, and just in general. The U.N. has called the plight of the Roma "The most pressing Human rights issue" we have to deal with. So does anyone else feel a little queasy about the almost lighthearted racism?

I'm black. and it seems asians (besides the ghetto and into hip-hop ones) aren't interested in black people at all. they give me no eye contact and they act like I don't exist when walking down the sidewalk. Do they only stick with there own race? Do they not like to hang around people who are darker than them? and if they do hang out with another race they are white. >:'(

I KNOW! BECAUSE THE KKK AND NEO-NAZIS RUINED IT FOR THEM. THOSE GROUPS MASKED RACISM WITH WHAT THEY CALL "white pride".
Personally, the whites should get mad at the KKK and neo-nazis and for making white pride a bad thing! minorities had nothing to do with it.

i think it is getting very annoying that people have nothing better than to think of a racist question. we can ask "what can we do as americans better this country? "i feel we need to try to modivate to be better people in all races. could you imagine how great it would be to live in a world that people respected all and not just their type?

When European traders sailed the world they traded gold, silver, spices and linen. When they got to Africa, they traded for slaves. That may be hard for some to swallow but its the documented truth. Traders manifests state this and the slave's accounts state this. Deal with it.

I dont understand how blacks can lump all the responsibility on whites for slavery when it was their own people who sold their a**s for salt???? I know its shameful but seriously, how did a dozen sailers travel to a foreign land and capture 200-300 slaves at a time from their native lands in a time that predates modern firearms??? I dont know if it makes them feel better about their ancestry to think a dozen Italians or Spaniards sailed 3,000 miles to a land they never set foot on and forceably captured hundreds of Africans. Neither reality is flattering so why not stick to the truth?

Im from Puerto Rico and when I apply to get a job on the US mainland I am always turned down even though I am bilingual. I think they are predujice or something why can't I get a job in the states? I was thinking to bring my brothers and my aunts and uncles out here but if it is this bad for me imagine how bad it will be for them.

i like alot of diffrent races and i'm attracted to many guys. but all my life i seemed diffrent becasue my friends didn't even look twice at white guys but i found them cute and interesting.and as i got older i felthopeless becasue i've come to find out white guys really aren't interested in black girls.

because my mom is black and italian and my father is puerto rican i pretty much just consider myself mixed or interacial.my friends are most black. but what i'm asking is who do you think is the most excepting blacks or white. being mixed i've found it easier to mix in with blacks then whites. but who would you feel more comfortable walking up to if you were the opposite race of them a group of whites or a group of blacks. i'm not trying to be racist or anything i was just wondering:)
