I am Russian, my parents are Russian, some of my friends are Russian, my parents friends are Russian, my dance friends are Russian, that is a lot of Russians!!!
Russians, especially those that are immigrants from Russia, are super hard workers. My parents came here, not knowing the language, no jobs, no money, nothing. Now my parents successfully run their own businesses, we live in very good conditions, and me and my sister have been disciplined to always do our best.
Almost all Russians are hard workers, because in Russia you won't get anywhere by being a lazy bum, so then the parents teach the children and then the children teach their children, so we are just a breed of hard workers I suppose.
We often question the normal answers people give us, and me and my sister always argue, just to prove the other one wrong.
I have also noticed that Russians can get really big noses, I mean I know a mom that has a nose pinocio would be jealous of!
Most of us don't like pure milk chocolate and white chocolate, we looove the bitter 90% cocoa stuff!
We (*cough* my dad *cough*) like to drink vodka and wine and such. Plus we can multi-task and put makeup on WHILE driving! That is what I call skill!
And once we start an argument, we won't stop till we've proven our point, or the other person is in tears! Just kidding :)
Oh, AND WE SNEEZE A LOT!

Yes several russians. As far as how they act, they act like normal people with normal wants and needs.
As far as general stereotypes, Russians tend to appreciate family, physical size, strength, vodka and heavy foods. Russian culture under the Soviet era was communist and athestic. Based on this Russians you meet maybe anti-big government, slight parnoia of secret police agencies, and not the biggest into religion. Overall Russians are fun loving people, that enjoy drinking and having a good time.

I have met quite a few people from Russia and the Ukraine. I have yet to notice anything peculiar about how they act. The people that I have met are trying mostly to assimilate and fit in.

Yes. They are hardworking folks who love their families. (My brother's fiancee is Russian and she is probably one of the most truly beautiful women I've ever met - she's beautiful without the makeup as well!)
