Rules will vary from club to club, but basic common sense will tell you how to behave. Basically, don't do anything to other people that you wouldn't be comfortable having them do to you--don't stare and don't act creepy or foolish and you'll be fine. Be sure to read up on the club's rules before you arrive so you'll know the specifics before you get there.
As for clothes, most facilities are clothing optional, meaning that you can wear as much or as little as you want. Some clubs have certain areas that are designated as nude only--very often pools and hot tubs are this way. There may also be times of places where clothing (or at least some clothing) is commonplace. For example, some clubs have themed parties where people dress up in costumes. The costumes are usually a lot more revealing than you might wear to a non-nudist costume party, but most people who go will have something on. Also, if it starts to get cool or it rains then people will start to put on clothing that makes them more comfortable.
In my experience, most people that are unsure of themselves being naked usually get undressed within a few hours of arriving. It usually starts to feel awkward when you are the only clothed person around.

I went last year to a camp it was great. There was this 79 year old there and she was so much fun, to talk to, it was a laugh a minute.
I know my first few minutes there I had all these people looking at me, I thought what are they looking at? Well come to find out I was not yet at the camp, The Wal Mart apparently was not part of the Nudist camp! Oops
Once there I felt right at home, there were all these naked people there, but within the next couple of hours a cold front moved in and heck I never saw so many goose bumps! We all put clothes on. So the next two days was me staring at people with clothes on, drats! I could have stayed home. Oh well, Good luck

number one thing...find out the rules for the camp you are going to! Everyone is a little different...some require you to be nude at all times, some require you to be clothed in dining areas, some do not allow single males, etc
second, always have a towel to sit on when nude...
everyone looks, just dont stare...wear sunglasses to hide your staring if needed
most nudist camps are not sexual atmospheres, but in the event something rises, simply roll over or drape a towel over it or leave the public area...dont want to get kicked out for being a perv
be friendly, smile, say hello to people...you will have a great time...nudism is very relaxing and people tend to be more open and friendly....and after you swim/hot tub nude you will never want to do it with a swim suit on again!

Went to nudist camp in Atlanta (north of Atlanta) they let you wear clothes your first day to get comfortable (just jeans or shorts if you want) Be relaxed control your body reactions, (ha ha :] ) because if its a family place like I went to they will ask you to leave....Of course it maybe different.......All I can say is don't think about it as SEX it is a place where the people there live their lives as nudist it is nothing new to them......check out what the place is like first see if they have a website. Oh they do wear clothes to dinner : ) RELAX

You'll find a host of information there.... and a few pictures. Have fun and take along some sun screen! LOL
Here's what is said at http://www.vealj.com/nudist/nudist_etiquette.htm
There are a few considerations of etiquette which are accepted among most nudists. They are listed here for reference and for the benefit of newcomers.
It is a good idea to secure an invitation before dropping in on a nudist club. This usually means writing or telephoning ahead of time. Strangers who show up unexpectedly may be turned away.
Honesty is the best policy. If you are sincere, most clubs will be happy to have you visit. Deceptive stories about why you want to become a nudist are not necessary. Give accurate information in your initial letter to a club and on your membership application.
At a lot of clubs, married people must join with their spouse. Some clubs have a no singles policy while others are more liberal towards single members. It is always better to ask in advance rather than to run the risk of being turned away at the gate. In most instances, single couples (male and female) are just as welcome as married couples.
For business or personal reasons some nudists may wish to remain anonymous and will introduce themselves using first names only. You should respect their privacy and they will do the same for you. It is you that nudists care about. Your personality will determine the number of friends you make at a nudist park, just as at any other social function.
Nudist parks seek to maintain a family atmosphere. Innocent expressions of affection among family members and friends are commonplace, but overt sexuality is not condoned. Unseemly behavior of any kind is out of place and will not be tolerated.
Photography is usually taboo. All clubs have strict rules governing photography. Most nudists are camera-shy and it is inexcusable to take a photo of anyone without permission. Don't take your camera to a club without checking all of the rules governing photography.
Observe all of the clubs posted rules. They are for your protection as well as for the safety and enjoyment of all concerned. Some of the more common rules are simple: Watch your children, they are your responsibility at all times. Sit on a towel for sanitary reasons. Shower carefully before using the swimming pools and hot tubs. Respect the rights of others. Respect the club property and keep it clean. Leave your pets at home.
Be as friendly and as open as possible and others will do the same.

Some camps have very strict rules which aren't strict to the people who like to attend. Looking is not taboo, but staring may be. The rules vary from camp to camp. I suggest thoroughly checking into it before you decide to go.

Look, but don't stare. No photographs. (You might ask permission in some places, but be careful to keep the camera in its bag until you ask) No overt sexual behavior. It's that simple.
Some places are clothing optional. But you will begin to feel uncomfortable after a while if you are the only one wearing anything.
The excitement will wear off after a while and you might discover that there are an awful lot of bodies that SHOULD be covered, and some that should NEVER be covered again.

when you sit indoors you must sit on a towel.
The only cloths are the ones that you come and leave with. Be
prepared to see nude kids, teens, drop dead gorges people and old and fat people. Every one scans each others bodies, but the longer you are part of the group the less you will even be aware of the nudity. But eye candy will always be eye candy, LOL.

I think the whole idea is to look but not be seen to be looking. Usually they talk about clothes be optional. If your not wearing any clothes you are takeing the same risk as the others. I thinking wearing clothes and staring at others in the nude would be a big no no. For me the whole point would be that people cannot complain that you are naked.

You'll soon get used to it. It's very liberating. You will see plenty of sexual parts, you can glance, but don't stare! If you are going to be around people with no clothes on it's only polite that you shouldn't be wearing any either. Keep out of the sun!
