I live in Burbank, used to live in Glendale, and the Armenian density here is huge. But is it like this anywhere else? If you are armenian, or have met an armenian, or know what we are, please answer this. Do any armenians live outside of California (In the USA) By the way i am armenian.

As in once Muslim is mention, the image of covered ''oppressed ''women most likely of mideastern origin, turban wearing men, terrorists, extemists conservatives etc etc.
Or do they refer to Muslims as real normal people like them whereby some some fraction of the community are liberals and some conservatives.

I am not at all predjudice, however, the older I get the more this issue bothers me. I am Indian, and for some odd reason, the black slave thing is still an issue that gets brought up frequently, but the FACT that several Indians were standing right next to the blacks wearing the same shackles and chains, and also getting whipped, raped and their land and homes destroyed, no one ever talks about that. Whats even crazier is that where I grew up, the blacks and indians were predjudice to eachother. I just dont get it. My kids are forced to read about black history in school, but I'ver never heard about Native american month.

I'd just like to make it clear with everyone that... THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS RACE! It is a social construct that was made only to divide people. We are all humans in the same race, the Human Race.

It has been proven by Anthropologists that all of mankind came out of Africa. Some branched out to India, South East Asia, Australia and other groups migrated to Europe in an Ice Age, 50 000 years ago. The physical characteristics on people are obviously to adapt to those environments. Frankly, the only real differences between groups of people is only history, culture and tradition. If you look at the DNA of everyone, it has a percent of African genes. It all goes back to one person. No race is better then another. Don't believe in any Race supremacy. There are beautiful people in every race. The media and society has conditioned the mass of what beauty is. But that's not true. You go travel around the world and come back and tell me what's beautiful.

From what I have seen "First hand"... Sunis killing Shites and vice versa NON STOP for 14 months most of us think that this God "Allah", is a blood soaked deity.

It demands death, mayhem, Hell and the Grave and rewards murder and suicide...in the name of "Holy War" with 72 Virgins and other delights!

It demands that behavior according to "His" prophet and
rewards it!!!

Mohammed? We think he is a phrophet of doom, death, blood, bombs and Burkas, those cloth prisons for women.

That is his message..this is the Islam we see NOT the National Geographic version.

I have seen women stoned, beaten in public regularly and know of la dozen young women that commited suicide over my 14 months. Death, their only escape from the sposal abuse of their Muslim husband's!

Now I am home...and all I hear is the politcally correct trash that "Islam is this great religion Hijacked by Radicals".

NOT TRUE ... 14 months showed me otherwise!

I'm not judging! I'm just interested in cultural differences in people and why people do what they do? We never used to see many Indians but now with outsourcing and contractors--well you see more of them in the US. So I've just become curious about them. Are they different when they are at home -- do they just not show affection in public? Is it related to religion or is it cultural? regional?
