From what I have seen "First hand"... Sunis killing Shites and vice versa NON STOP for 14 months most of us think that this God "Allah", is a blood soaked deity.

It demands death, mayhem, Hell and the Grave and rewards murder and suicide...in the name of "Holy War" with 72 Virgins and other delights!

It demands that behavior according to "His" prophet and
rewards it!!!

Mohammed? We think he is a phrophet of doom, death, blood, bombs and Burkas, those cloth prisons for women.

That is his message..this is the Islam we see NOT the National Geographic version.

I have seen women stoned, beaten in public regularly and know of la dozen young women that commited suicide over my 14 months. Death, their only escape from the sposal abuse of their Muslim husband's!

Now I am home...and all I hear is the politcally correct trash that "Islam is this great religion Hijacked by Radicals".

NOT TRUE ... 14 months showed me otherwise!

What say you?

Seems to me to be a religion of cowards. Cowards who strap bombs on themselves to kill innocent men, women and children. Cowards who treat women only slightly better than they treat stray dogs, and a whole BUNCH of cowards that are too afraid of the first group to stand up and put them in their place.

If what you are saying is true, it is absolutely shocking!

What you have witnessed is more in the realm of human nature at its worst, not Islam. They may use it as an excuse, but this is not Islam.

Somehow I believe this atrocious violence is the result of years of abuse, both abuse of people and abuse of religion. The American invasion obviously let loose immense anger and resentment over the previous dictatorship and the Iraqis are acting out in the worst possible way. I cannot find anything in my study of sociology that fully accounts for this phenomenon.

I am writing my opinion in the safety of my home while you actually lived the horror. I wish you a safe and happy life and that you can resolve the awful conflicts you must have after such an horrendous experience.

Good luck, good fortune and happiness!!!!!

And their own leaders in their own words say this is the religion they want to spread (impose) through the whole world, including America. I don't believe this brand of Islam represents all of Islam, but they are the ones making war on the Western World.

If they are not stopped in the Middle East, where will they be stopped?

The things you saw do not represent us as a whole. We are not one mind or one person...each person is responsible for themselves. If we all were murderers committed suicide, wouldn't we all be dead? This is a war torn country, and war is not pretty...I've had a family member there and I'm sure he's seen many horrific sights. No matter what those people say, believe me, they are not true Muslims.

I say that you've seen some horrific things, and your report is a reminder of what we're trying to accomplish over there. The end of that terror, that abuse. You've seen terrible things, but you had the opportunity to make it better, never forget that. You did and will continue to make a difference. Thank you.

Welcome home, Marine.

I listen to everything a returning Marine, soldier or sailor says about their experiences in Afghanistan and Iraq. That is unfortunately the only way I can get truly dependable information.

Thank you and Semper Fi.

PS. I will not ever convert to Islam or Marxism.

My exposure to Islam and the Islamic world is much, much more limited than yours is, so I can't really answer one way or another.

All I can say is thank you for your service to our country, and welcome home. God bless you.

By the way, my brother is also a captain in the Marines and he's still over there. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers...

First off...thank you for your service and I'm glad you made it back home. I believe what you say about this so-called great religion. Any religion is no good if it lends to ignorance and breeds arrogance.
