Maybe there are conflicts that arise from nosey neighbors - I really haven't faced any as yet because I appreciate that someone is watching to make sure that there are no strangers going about without notice; that there is no drug running going on in my neighborhood; and that the kid two doors down who goes to school with mine is making a bomb in his garage without someone taking notice!!!!
If I decide to have a party, I give them notice. If I have lots of company over, they usually know ahead of time because we speak - regularly! When they step over the line, I know them well enough to say so - without hurting anyone's feelings.
It really does take a village. Unless you are the one running drugs, or making homemade bombs, or beating your wife and kids - then, lookout, because I'm also a nosy neighbor.

Anytime that you have a party, they decide it is a good idea to call the cops... or anytime they see more than 3 cars in the driveway they call the cops. There are a thousand conflicts nosey neighbors create, those are just a few that have happened to me. It's no fun.

I have one neighbor constantly telling my family what to do, another constantly looking into our yard or coming out of their house when they see us in our yard and pretending to do something in their car
