What do you do if someone said that in front of you?

And what convinced you to do it (if you are, obviously)? Personally, I was terrified because my family has this rather nasty habit of saying they're OK with something, then throwing it into one another's faces just to hurt each other when we get into arguments. I finally came out after I saw the way families supported each other, and the way people can rush to their brother / son / sister / niece / whatever's side whenever they suffer indignation. Unfortunately, my situation was not as hunky-dory, but I'm curious about other people's stories.

This persons is 21. He has never abused anyone. He has great parents who have never abused him in anyway. He sensitive (or just weak, he hasent figure it out). But he noticed his range of attraction is getting too wide. As in were normally he was only attracted to girls his age as low as mabye 16 to 35 now its getting as low as well i don't wan't to say the # but to say the least its deffinatly too young. At first he wen't to a website chatroom to c if thare were others going through the same thing, but the results were polorizing!!! On one hand you had people saying it was ok he should just start a relationship with kids and stuff (which I assure you he was NOT considering ITS NOT OK!) and on the other extreem he was getting lumped in with criminal pedophiles and being told to get his balls cut off by the other guest posters. His brother is 15, gay and suicidal so he doesn't wan't to put his parents through anymore drama. What can he do with out his parent's thinking its thair falt?

why?? because when we were young and we felt there was something different in us, we didnt have a refence to look into...straight people have their parents as reference and they might like what they see or not, but they can choose they can be like the adults around or be rebels and oppose the conventions of the adults around them...for us gay people have never been so, we coulnt take the adults around us as reference because they didnt experience what we did, they couldnt possibly know what is it to be at school and felt you were different (and enduring the behaviour of other kids who could see that as well). So the lack of reference in childhood made us all ( gay people over 30 ) to turn to somewhere else looking for referents and 30 years ago we "new gay children" couldnt find any so easily. I think our behaviour can be seen a stereotype, maybe we are personally different some of us more shy some of us less "coward" but apart from that we are fruit of the same tv shows, books, movie

i mean many gay people in here say "dont stereotype" "not all gays are the same", but if one goes out at night to a trendy disco or a fashionable restaurant one can see that all gay people there look alike, behave in the some way and are looking for the same.
I am gay and open minded to a degree but gay night life is quite sad and gay night life dwellers are quite empty, here and in syberia.

I know a guy who calls himself, Lil' F*g, but if you call him a punk, queer, or f*ggot, then he gets offended & wants to fight you.

My husband has stated that he is transgendered wants to go through it all including surgery(did not know until after we were married) I told him that I was uncomfortable with it. So he said fine end of it. Now we arent having sex. If he isnt dressed like a woman he isnt interested in sex. I am having a hard time with understanding and figuring out where we go from here. He says that everything will work out. I understand that sex isnt the only thing in a marriage but it is important can we work through this? Or should I just give up? Thanks

No, the USA was not founded by the strong belief of GOD. Our founding fathers (Bejamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson)were intrigued with religion but did not necessarily believe in Christ Divinity. They were not exactly religious but actually liked focusing on the ethics of the Bible.

It's the 21st centuries... the gay communities throughout the US are expanding and want their rights.

Why not?

Remember it's not the gay people that are producing UNWANTED children. They are helping out and adopting children just like everyone else.

Then you got Dolce and Gabbana.. and many people in the film industry are LGTB... WTF is wrong with that?

There are websites that prove genes are manipulated inside the womb causing a shift in gender role playing as the grows up...

I've been hearing a lot lately about same sex marriage and how it's a heated debate in several states in America. Just wondering why, if two people love each other so much, that they have to make it legal to be together? I guess what i'm saying is why is it so imperative? America is built on freedoms, so why try to invoke something (the concept of two people being happy together) to something that inherently makes no sense (being bound together by law)??

I told him in an hour-and-a-half long converstion on Wednesday. It wasn't neccesarily graceful, but it wasn't bad. He knew for a while. He's not mad or freaked out or anything, but he politely let me know he's straight and he turned me down. The bad thing is, I actually let myself fall in love for him, so that means I only crashed harder. It's like, "Hey, I fell in love with you, and I'm hurt because of it. When did this happen, and how do I make it stop?" This pain... it's too much. How can I stop it without going insane?

"Real" lesbians don't call themselves "queer". Real lesbians don't think differently than heterosexual females, as in they (lesbians) think of themselves as having the identity and personality of an average woman, not just some woman with "unnatural" attraction towards the same sex.

I realise that I don't fit in the "lesbian" or "gay" description of today's world 'cos I consider myself to be me... not a "queer" or "different" person just 'cos I am attracted to the same sex. I just can't see myself going to those funny-looking gay parades with cross dressers and weird outfits... they're just making a fool of themselves by showing the world that gay people are like "clowns" or what not.
I've never had a lesbian relationship before but I know in my heart that I am one. (No explanation needed.)

Do you agree or disagree with my views on "real" lesbians?
