Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender - April 2007

Okay. A little background: My wife and I got married a couple years back. It was a same-sex wedding in Massachussetts. Her boy cousin and my girl cousin met there, fell in love, got engaged, and love each other more every day.

Now they're getting married this summer, and my relatives are *so* excited. The ones who have always been homophobic and against me and my wife's relationship are *really* excited. Our own wedding has since been legally invalidated by the Massachussetts courts. And the relatives who run my wife down talk about how handsome and smart her cousin is, conveniently forgetting just who he looks and thinks a lot like.

We do love our cousins and look forward to seeing them get married. However, we're getting really touchy. Can we stop it? When people run them up and then run us down, should we say anything? How?

Sorry to be long-winded, but I can use a little help and support.

I thought that he was a nice guy before all of this, but I'm not sure now. He saw me on saturday night - out at a bar and just smiled. I thought that he recognized me. Today, he told me - didn't ask - to meet him tomorrow night at a bar that's near where he lives. I'm worried that he wants to blackmail me - he's higher on the food chain than me and could make my life hell - what can I do?

This question is geared more toward those that gay bash, but I would love comments from the community.
So I sit here and watch the news and hear and see child molestors all over the country, getting arrested and being convicted. Why are we as homosxuals, critized and banned from normal citizen rights? I'm pretty sure that child molestors after they get out of jail are still able to get married. So what exactley are we doing that is so illeagal? I just love guys, is that such a crime. Honestly I don't like guys my age or even younger.

My point is, should we as homosexual human beings, receive the same rights as other people until we misuse or do something that is illegal? Would this not make more sense. Why are we so looked down on? We didn't do anything. So why do we deserve this kind of reticule? it seems like Child molestors get of better than we do. So they can't vote, they are still able to love. I don't think it's fair. Am I far off from the truth? Please help my naivety.

How can a person claim to be Christian and preach a message of hate? True Christians know that God loves all of us and only God has the right to decide what he considers a sin. Just because man says something is wrong doesn't mean that it's wrong in the eyes of God!

Hello everyone! I have always been bi-curious, where girls interested me, but not enough to act on it. Now, I am a lesbian by choice. I have had many men in my life do horrible things to me, therefore Im not even attracted to them anymore. I have a girlfriend now, and life couldn't be better.
