Looking for a really nice park or garden to have my lesbian wedding and reception.?
Anyone know some great places in the DC/MD/PA/VA area?

Something nice for an outdoor ceremony and reception.

Would consider the idea of a location that is just that (a location) We'll just rent the tables, chairs, etc.

Thanks for your help!

Well, don't do it in Virginia, and don't live together in Virginia, either. They're very against same-sex couples.

I found a huge list of DC-area gardens, etc. that host weddings (though I'm not sure about same-sex weddings--you'll have to call) here:

GOOD LUCK!!!!

Try the Adam's Park ....... It is a nice Cherry Orchard with white & red roses on the outher periphery.

The huge gardens (total of 9 gardens) inside allow the gathering of large number of people ( 100 to 200 people can sit in each garden ).

Adams Park also has a few water fountains & a nice lake.

If possible you can hire a boat & conduct the lesbian wedding on the boat (at the edge of the lake), while the guests can watch from the shore of the lake.

What about somewhere on the water? i have always considered having mine in Betterton, MD. It is a gorgeous little beach with a few picnic tables and a great view. Or what about at Turkey Point lighthouse or in Havre de Grace along the promanade. Can you tell that i love the water?

Depending on where you live, there should be great places along the water in Virginia too.
