Is their attire or other accoutrement a salient point in your decision?

See this for a very rough idea of a Queen: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drag_queen

A fairy can be used to describe any homosexual male but is most often applied to those of the more effeminate variety.

Poor Boy George. The last I heard he was headlining a show in Reykjavik, Iceland, wasn't he?

As I bow down now to her royal heighness, I shall of course say "There is no other like the perfection that is Her Majesty." Grande Damme has no equal. *curtsy & finger snaps all around*

Interesting dilemma. To each their own! Meaning, if a person is forcing the queen aspect, it's going to be too campy for me, in most cases. I love a queen who is truly regal. As far as extremes go, some queens can pull it off better than others. So, with the rare exception, I'll go with fairies. What I really like is something in between. I like to dress almost like a regular, lower middle class woman, but with a bit of an edge. A flowery sundress with black lace glovelets and a choker. Denim shorts split up the side with black thigh highs, long sleeve turtleneck and an open top. Usually with 3" pumps or sandals.

I used to love the word fairies until my step dad got mad at my 3 yr old brother saying that he doesn't want a fairy for a son. So now I use the word queen a lot. It makes you feel like you have a higher power.

Actually I prefer the strong manly type! But to be totally honest I'd make a poor queen, maybe a female bear but not a normal fem!

Neither, but I love their company. I actually prefer lions and tigers and bears, and chaps or a sensible harness is the only accoutrement I deem to be salient.

Oh, and you look fabulous, BTW.

I prefer masculine guys. I'm masculine myself, and no offense intended, but effeminate guys turn me off.
