i mean many gay people in here say "dont stereotype" "not all gays are the same", but if one goes out at night to a trendy disco or a fashionable restaurant one can see that all gay people there look alike, behave in the some way and are looking for the same.
I am gay and open minded to a degree but gay night life is quite sad and gay night life dwellers are quite empty, here and in syberia.

What about the gay couple who hang out at the neighborhood country/western bar? Not all gays go out to enjoy the clubbing scene either.

The whole point to going to a particular club (indicating a clique) is that you enjoy similar interests - in music or atmosphere. What's the harm in that?

If the person living the clubbing night-life is happy with it, and they are not hurting anyone else with it - I am the last person who would call their lifestyle "sad". It's what they want to do. Personally, I can't get it through my head that running can be fun. It just doesn't equate - but I'm not going to call runners sad.

WOW. well i am a female that's involved with a woman. I don't happen to be on the night scene very often. However, when i am, i still don't fit your stereotype. I am a mother. at night when I'm out clubbing or at bars, i am looking for nothing but good old fashion grown up conversation. I am looking to get **** faced and go home and nurse my upcoming hangover. So i know i don't fit your stereotype. that's the problem, people can't see each other as individuals and respect one another just as much. i don't think your mind is quite as open as you think. God bless.

Maybe you should stick your head out of that gay nightlife and you'll see plenty of gay men have done the same, and don't look like copies of each other.

Some of us for the most part have assimilated into mainstream culture. The non-scene gays I guess.

If you go to a "straight" club, most of the men look and act pretty similar to the other men and most of the women look and act pretty similar to the other women. It's like going to a soccer game and complaining that all the players have on uniforms and are playing soccer.

Oh, my! That's exactly what I thought of straight guys!

Well, I do know some gays live in double-wide trailer homes, drink beer and watch TV.

i agree with you--im gay too-people think that because you are gay all you want is sex or something like that---they dont know - so they should not be saying anything about it---thats what i think---if you dont know what "gays' have to go throught --then dont judge them---if is not easy as it seems

don't you think the reason all the ones at the club are the same is because they are all at the same club?
