Some guys prefer to 'top' others prefer to 'bottom' some enjoy both. I'm not exactly sure how it works with 2 females....

Why does it matter?

No. Most often you'll hear someone say he's a bottom or he's a top (Top playing the man's role - dominant, bottom being the woman's role - submissive). Many guys out there claim to be tops and then want only to bottom with another guy. It's not easy to find someone who's truely versatile.

Some of us are, indeed, very nearly 50/50. For me, my position during sex is completely dependant upon my partner. I'm a giver, I'm a pleaser, and I like to be pleased only if I'm giving at least as much back. If my partner is a masculine, hairy chested, built man, I expect to let him play the dominant role. If he's shorter, smooth, skinny/thin, I expect to be the dominant partner. I don't think I could get much enjoyment the other way around. Very few guys fall into the middle of the road category where they could be either or both at any given time.

Bottom line - Every guy likes to get off... how he does it, or in what position is usually only one or the other, not both.

PS - You'll fine many more bottoms than tops in the world.

Most of us prefer to give than receive. So if you have two of us together, we give at the same time or take turns. Sometimes you have a dominant and submissive partner but that isn't always the norm. Many of us are very masculine but enjoy receiving. I am bisexual and I am the same way with women.

No, everyone is different. Some people like to receive more, some people like to give more. Some people are 50-50.

During intercourse one man is the top (the penis man) the other is the bottom (the prostate man). Having a strong preference but sometimes flipping is apparently the norm, or at least fairly common, in relationships. I'm a top, but then I'm single.

The actual "answer" will vary as much as people do. Some couples are strictly "one way" in bed, others like to vary things.

Think of it as.... cooking and eating chicken. Some people like fried chicken only, some like it baked. The majority of us like a bit of variety sometimes fried, sometimes baked, occasionally shredded up in a BBQ sandwich. There really isn't one specific rule that you can apply to an entire population of people.

in my situation i like men and women. sometimes with my girlfriend i will give and not recieve or she will give and not recieve or we both give and we both recieve. we are both femanine though. i am not attracted to females that look or act like men so neither of us is the "man". I am also a very oral person anyway so sometimes by the time she is ready to give i have already had an orgasm. That goes for guys too.

Don't generalize. Some only give, some only take, some take turns. Some like 'em young(er), some like 'em old(er). Some like 'em "manly," some like 'em "girly." Some like it one way but not another, some have no limits. Gays and lesbians are individuals, just like real people, they're not stereotypes.
