I doubt I would find the quiet passion of the early years, perhaps the swetness of later times.
No one special in mind, I think I shall just be happy with my friends.

now that I've asked the questions "How do you feel about gays and lesbians? and why shouldn't they be allowed to marry and have equal rights with health benefits and such?"

Then I'd also like to know if even here (and I know its not the opinions of the entire world) but if the majority of the people have no problem with it then why can't we come together as a society and allow marriages, adoptions, rights to medical benefits, etc.???

There are more and more movies lately that have "come out" with a gay theme or gay character in them, which is your favorite?

Furthermore, was there any person that you idolized as a child growing up or thought as a role model?

What do you suppose a soldier should do if he is an otherwise exemplary soldier (fit, respected, decorated, highly motivated, etc) and gay? Does he have a moral obligation to be himself and thus get expelled from the service? Or should he deny his feelings in the interest of "good soldiering"? Should he continue to support a service that, if they knew he were gay, could prosecute him (if he were a "practicing" gay)? Or should he part ways with a hippocritical orginization and withdraw his support of his service?

AID's was originally called GRID (Gay Related Immune Deficiency). My friend thinks that it was the Government's fault that so much of the homosexaul community died because they didn't notice the disease until straight people got it. Is there any truth to this? Please go into detail.

Do you think you would be as willing to embrace diversity and open your mind to as many things if you were straight?
I guess what I'm trying to say is, since GLBT people are still considered a minority by today's standards, do you think that marginalization has led towards our desire to seek out other minority groups and learn from them, thus increasing our open mindedness?

You know a GLBT person that can debate with the best of them and totally debunk their close minded arguments and use logic to show how ignorant they are?

No bashing. ok, I use to be against homosexual marriage (for the only "valid" reason of "it's against God" and blah blah) but seeing what you guys have to say and how you feel about the subject has really changed my mind (i admit, i was stupid and wrong before). It should be all about love, not to mention if we're going to have separation of church and state, then separate the two! otherwise, there is no good reason to forbid gay marriage. it's not a mockery of marriage (hell, straight people have already done that).

I just wanted to let y'all know you've changed one person's opinion :) (and if you've changed one, no doubt you've changed countless others).

In the movies, it's always been straight couples; boy asks girl out; girl changes from dorky/geeky/generally 'unattractive' in the media's eyes to princess at the end.

I have been told that my father's death caused my bisexuality. A friend of mine was told her having cancer in childhood might have made her bi. (She's died since--RIP.) Other friends have heard that their parents' divorces cause it. I wouldn't be surprised if the death of a family pet was "blamed."

There are also many interesting theories spread by right-wingers, including eating too much soy.

What's the weirdest one you've heard? (Links are good.)

In Religion and Spirituality, someone claiming to be a Christian is asking other Christians to come here and "talk sense into us."

Thankfully even the conservative Christians are telling him not to harass us, but this is just a heads-up. What can we do to keep from getting slimed?

I dislike seeing the nude photos in potential dates' profiles. They have prevented me from contacting guys I might have otherwise written.

Am I a total prude or do others find nude pics the complete turn-off?
