A little of everything. A lot of time, people are born with a predispostion which could be towards being gay, and it takes a traumatic event or an act of free will to push them over the line.

I do not believe it is free will or tramatic action. I do not think there is a choice. I believe that the majority is heterosexual and the minority are homosexual or gay. Look at it as population control. There are even examples in the other animals on the earth.

It is not free will or traumatic action. We are born gay.

It's neither. We don't get a say in it, so we can't will it away. We don't choose it, it chooses us really.

Most gay people also aren't traumatized, because if that was then there would be far less gay people because it's not that common.

So it's neither, we're born with it.

Traumatic action. You know. The same way being heterosexual is the result of a traumatic action.

Neither! You don't wake up in the morning and say, "I'll be straight or gay or bi." Did you freely choose your sexual orientation?

Also, I have heard all kinds of things get "blamed" for homosexuality, from childhood cancer to parents' divorce. It's really stupid.

It is neither. People are born gay. It's genetic and that is scientific fact. I suggest you do some research.
