Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender - March 2007

I used to be a girl, and most people considered me a "butch lesbian" and I used to date lesbians.
Now, I'm in transition to male, and I pass really really well, but going through this transition and seeing others reactions and opinions (wanted or not) has jaded me. Lesbians now, are so concerned with maintaining their "lesbian image" to their friends, that they can't be seen with someone like me anymore. Even though just a few years ago, when I was a "butch lesbian" they thought I was the greatest thing since sliced bread. The narrow mindedness, the hypocricy and all..it just frustrates and disgusts me. I no longer have an interest in the gay community. Is this wrong? I feel like I'm turning my back on my community, but in a way, they've turned their backs on me.

I have always told my daughter that lesbians will not come on to women if they know you're straight. I have a moron of an in- law that told her they will always try. Could you please back me up? I'd like for her to read for herself the answers from lesbians & I also like to shove the truth down my in laws throat

I've been having feelings for one of my friends for while now, but I have never acted upon it 'cause I haven't been sure how she felt about me. Yesterday me and my friend were at my house watching a movie. When it was over we had nothing to do so we started cuddling. We do this quite a lot, as soon as we are alone together actually. And then we where talking and she said: "I'm open for anything, I want to experiment, if a girl would come on to me I would go for it." I got totally embarassed and changed the subject. A little while later we where like wrestling, and I accidentally touched her breast, and she said: "hey, you can't touch me there, you're straight" and I said "how do you know that?" and she said "give me proof then" but I just got embarassed again and changed the subject. I've been pining for her for months for crying out loud! what's wrong with me?

I am attending a crossdressing party and I want to go all out. I need a skirt or dress, blouse possibly, bra, wig, nails, makeup tips, stockings, high heels and panties. I need colors and links to places to find this some of this stuff or pictures of people that would want to show me how it looks so I can make a decision. Any other ideas about what to wear would be helpful as well.

I got pulled over last night while I was completely dressed in drag. I was wearing a short skirt, bra, panties, wig, makeup, stockings, fake nails and 5" heels. I was then asked to perform field sobriety tests and let me tell you it is difficult to do so when wearing heels. I was let go because I was not drinking at all, but those cops got a good laugh and I was thoroughly embarrassed. I was just wondering if anyone had a more embarrassing situation or if they could think of one so I could avoid it. Stories are good too thanks.

She was with another and still called me baby..saying she liked it being able to talk to me about her problems with her new b/f..i said your life is perfect and your in love and her answer was I have feelings..she says we r friends but acts like a female dog....making it hard for me to even like her..yet her friends tell me she speaks highly of me all the time..hard to believe when she is so mean to me on the phone..telling me we have nothing to talk about..yet sounds sad when i am about to hang up..she says she is str8 now and that this man in her life means alot to her..that i deserve someone to love me..so I did and I am slowly moving on..

I get a lot of compliments from people, men and women that I am really pretty and have a lovely complexion. Why then when I look in the mirror don't I see it? I look at myself and think I look nasty. I had the greatest birthday party ever last night, all my friends gathered, my family, I received a lot of phone calls... BUT
my girlfriend, who a the time is living away because of her studies, limited herself to saying happy birthday a few times through yahoo messenger's offline comments... she didn't even call, and calling is not a problem for her, ever.

Should I feel like this? It feels really weird because its the first time... she has been away before during my birthday and everything has turned out great, even with the distance.

if you found out your friend was gay? I recently told all of my friends (4) to be exact that I was gay. I did'nt realize that all of my so called friends would tell me that "if you get down like that than we ain't friends no more". They also said that they could'nt be associated with someone in my lifestyle. So now I've been abandoned by my "homies", and left to wonder what would other people do in this situation? I'm a guy about to turn 21 in 2 weeks, and am really miserable. Maybe I should have never told them in the first place, because as they tell me "you don't act gay, and you had girlfriends, so how do you know your gay", And my response was "I was living a lie, and was hoping to come clean with myself and the people I thought had my back". But obvioulsy that isn't the case. So what would u all do?

The list goes on...

STD's do not have a sexuality and there is no sexuality that is more "likely" to get a STD.Those who are more likely are people who believe themselves immune, while drunk or high, or just being irresponsible.
